Brunswick Plantation Resort and Golf is located in Calabash, North Carolina, on the north end of the Myrtle Beach-area Grand Strand. This 2,000-acre development features a residential community and semi-private, 27-hole golf course. Villa rentals are available for rent with studio, one- and two-bedroom units. There are multiple outdoor pools available to stay-and-play guests as well as two clubhouses. Packages are also available to other Brunswick County top courses including Ocean Ridge Plantation, Farmstead, Crow Creek Thistle and Rivers Edge. Great Outing
This was the sixth different course we played while in North Myrtle Beach area. This was the best of the sixth overall. Best greens by far. The fairways were great also. The bunkers were not in great shape as many still had standing water from rain a couple days earlier or were not raked. Our foursome thoroughly loved this course and would highly recommend it.
Average Layout - Great Conditions
The course layout is similar to many course built in this time period. The course conditions were excellent. Greens true and fast. Friendly staff, great pace. 1st off with another single and we finished in 2:35.
Fun course
Great course in excellent shape. Enjoyed the afternoon.
Wet the Day we Played
Unfortunately it rained pretty hard the previous night and it was cart path only. Greens in great shape and fairways were ok but just wet.

Had a great time just the pace of play could have been better
Very Cole day,
We played the Godwood/Azelea, very Cole day, it's like we hard the course for ourselve. Also debris on fairways and on the Green. But we enjoyed our game. We will play that course again

Thanks for nothing
Well anyone at the Beach on Saturday knows what the weather was like. we obviously had prepaid and the course said there were no delays and that it was cart path only which it had been for a couple of days. Based on the plummeting temps and howling wind , i requested a rain check or cancellation. After the guy in the pro shop finally got off the phone shooting the breeze with a buddy( like 5 minutes) he was gruff and unfriendly. Found out why later. Pretty sure we were the last group off the tee. Saw not another living soul on the course.. Weather was brutal. Guess they are really hard up for our 69.00 each. We left after 9 and the pro shop guy left as we were unloading our carts. If i knew he was waiting. I would have walked off on the back nine and left the carts there so they would have had to wait until they came looking for it.
Shame is i played it 3 weeks ago and loved it. But I guess folks show their true colors . I'm pretty sure they were hoping we wouldn't show up, but we did but guess what boys I'll not be back nor will I recommend it to anyone i know. See how far you get on my 69.00 going forward.
