Brunswick Plantation Resort and Golf is located in Calabash, North Carolina, on the north end of the Myrtle Beach-area Grand Strand. This 2,000-acre development features a residential community and semi-private, 27-hole golf course. Villa rentals are available for rent with studio, one- and two-bedroom units. There are multiple outdoor pools available to stay-and-play guests as well as two clubhouses. Packages are also available to other Brunswick County top courses including Ocean Ridge Plantation, Farmstead, Crow Creek Thistle and Rivers Edge. Course was in good condition for the time of year. Overseed is filling in nicely. Greens rolled well. Would definitely recommend.
Enjoyable Experience
Friendly staff! Welcoming environment. Late November conditions are never ideal but this course was in wonderful condition considering the time of year, especially the greens and tee boxes. I will definitely comeback.
Great Facility
Brunswick Plantation is an excellent golf facility. Staff are extremely professional and of great assistance. They got us off on time and we played in just over 3 hours. Course conditioning is magnificent. This course is suitable for all levels of golfers. They will have a good time regardless of ability.

Great course, very enjoyable. Fsirways, greens and bunkers all in great shape.
Good...but
We set up out t time on Golf Now. Did not find out until we go to the golf course that it was CART PATH ONLY due to fairway overseeding. That is valuable information that I think Brunswick should have on golf now when it is appropriate! We were NOT happy with that surprise. We would have gone elsewhere had we known it and will now NOT go back to Brunswick because of it!
Inhospitable staff and blasé layout
I was very unimpressed and unhappy about my experience at this course. Glad I got the Teetime discount because now I know not to pursue booking a weekend or multi-day stay as I had planned prior to my "trial" round there. Neither the bag check nor pro shop staffers were at all courteous or welcoming--no greetings, no course insights or conversation--just "here you go" and begone! Plus, the women's restroom on the course was pitiful, like an outhouse. Was it because a was a single player, a Teetime booker, or an African American woman golfer? I don't know or care because I won't be returning, especially when there are so many other friendly and enjoyable courses in this area.
