Oyster Bay Dweller
Took wife to play here for her very first round of golf. It was a perfect course to do this at. Staff worked us around other parties to allow a little more time for beginner. Great Staff. Weather was perfect.
Complicated
I’m sorry!! There was just too much confusion w/roads. Buildings Parking and residential areas!
I was happy I had a partner who had played there!
Really comes to a HEAD when you just “wanna go home!”
4 1/2 hr round and waited on every shot. They need to control the pace of play, Overall a very nice course but green had been watered causing some very inconsistent pace.
Enjoyed the course
Course was in good shape. Greens were quick with some slope. Some greens had a few issues but nothing major. Fairways were in good shape. I would play it again. Pro Shop was not very friendly.
Nice time
Very good time with course condition very good. Pace a bit slow following 4 women but still finished just over 4 hours
This is a great course
I play the courses at Brunswick Plantation whenever I can. Beautiful courses in great condition!
Yardage makers
The only issue I have is that I’m old school and I can walk off my yardage if only I could find a maker especially on the par threes. When you did find one, there were discrepancies between the scorecard, tee maker sign, and sprinkler heads.
Loved it
Loved the course. Loved that it wasnt driver wedge every hole. The doglegs make you think a lot and hit good shots. Wanted to play here again thos week but everything was sold out for the last day we were here. Will be coming back again. Would definitely recommend
Good value for the price
Almost every hole is a dogleg (which gets old), but it's a nice course. Well-manicured, but they need bags on the mowers. Every shot left my club covered with wet grass clippings.
Will definitely go back!
We booked our tee time the night before and we’re able to get an early tee time and the price was the cheapest of the courses we looked at. What a great choice! The course was a lot of fun and is a great and challenging layout. It was in great shape and we really enjoyed the place. Pace of play was almost perfect, we only had to wait on a couple of shots because we were a threesome playing behind some foursomes, but we weren’t pushed either. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!
Nice layout and good condtions
The only negative was that a ranger asked us on the 15th hole if the group ahead of us was holding us up. Since we had already been on the course for over 4 hours, he should have known the answer and told the group holding us up to speed up play or skip a hole
