Good Deal
Had a good time, played with a toosom from Canada.
Nice course, greens are a little blemished.
Got a good deal on Golf Now. When I signed in the gentleman in the clubhouse hardly spoke. I got the impression I was bothering him.
Nice, nice 5*****
Love this Course, will play again when in Myrtle Beach.
Good value - nothing special
Got a very good rate from Golf Now. The fairways were as expected for this time of year. Greens were a mixed bag -- had occasional non-bermuda tuft that would affect the roll of the putt. there is a fair amount of water, but the FW's are reasonably generous.
The course was not in good shape. Greens had very little grass on them making it like putting on glass. No grass no friction..
We were 10 minute s late getting briefed and getting sent to the first tee. Sand bunkers need more sand to be able to use a wedge and pick up the ball. No sand depth. Never going back
Terrible conditions
I've played 43 courses in the Myrtle Beach area since Dec 1 and by far these greens were the worst i've played on. They were terrible along with the fairways. Save your money and go elsewhere. Trust me you don't want to play here.
What a Mess
Azalea course the greens were a disaster. It was like putting on cement. 4 foot putts rolled 25 feet past the cup. I'm not that bad of a putter. Magnolia course fairways were dead, yellow. Greens were a little better though. Not recommended. First terrible course I've played in 5 years.
Course was in fine condition. Pace of play was almost 6 hours. We still had 2 holes to play and we were out there 5 and a half hours already. I think they should have someone moving people along. Waited on every shot.
Organization
Course was doing crossovers with a frost delay. Some groups stopped for lunch which further delayed groups waiting to play. Bag area did not seem organized causing more delay in loading players. Not impressed.
Nice track
Enjoyed the course totally. It was very windy I did not have my best game but I still cannot say anything negative. For March the conditions were better than I expected. The course has a very nice design and layout. Staff was very friendly. Greens were true and fast. I definitely recommend this track.
Poor condition
Good layout, but in poor condition - dry, dry and dry fairways, greens, tee boxes.
Should be great in April
Still might be a little early for this course but all in all ... not bad. You can see where its still healing from the winter. Everything is coming back nicely and by first of April, this place should be great!! We are coming back to the area in a couple of months and will more than likely play here then!!
Disapointment...
The course is disapointing comparons to what It was years ago.
Was a Premium course but is now more...Middle tier !
Nice layout, tough greens
First round of the year, and I just about ran out of balls. Knowing the layout would have been helpful, but the greens were very large, fast, and undulating, with some mean pin placements.
Enjoyed it
Enjoyed it, since I came here in September last year I play Brunswick I have a dozen or more times I enjoyed every time it has a nice layout but the greens are a little fast
Magnolia at Brunswick
Starter was pleasant and got us off early with no one ahead of us. Course was in good shape.
Greens were full of crows feet sprigs of grass so you could not get a true roll when putting.
