Spring Golf! Photo submitted by Sshipper on 03/09/2022
Great Facility
Brunswick Plantation is an excellent golf facility. Staff are extremely professional and of great assistance. They got us off on time and we played in just over 3 hours. Course conditioning is magnificent. This course is suitable for all levels of golfers. They will have a good time regardless of ability.
Very nice course
Great course, very enjoyable. Fsirways, greens and bunkers all in great shape.
Good...but
We set up out t time on Golf Now. Did not find out until we go to the golf course that it was CART PATH ONLY due to fairway overseeding. That is valuable information that I think Brunswick should have on golf now when it is appropriate! We were NOT happy with that surprise. We would have gone elsewhere had we known it and will now NOT go back to Brunswick because of it!
Inhospitable staff and blasé layout
I was very unimpressed and unhappy about my experience at this course. Glad I got the Teetime discount because now I know not to pursue booking a weekend or multi-day stay as I had planned prior to my "trial" round there. Neither the bag check nor pro shop staffers were at all courteous or welcoming--no greetings, no course insights or conversation--just "here you go" and begone! Plus, the women's restroom on the course was pitiful, like an outhouse. Was it because a was a single player, a Teetime booker, or an African American woman golfer? I don't know or care because I won't be returning, especially when there are so many other friendly and enjoyable courses in this area.
Nice layout. Great people. Fast greens we’ve played of the eight courses we play near MB.
Good enjoyable course
This was a friendly well maintained course. Definitely would go back again,
VERY nice golf course
I was paired with a husband/wife couple and and we had a great time. Everyone was very nice and the course was in great shape. I would recommend this to anyone and I hope to be able to play at Brunswick Plantation again.
Greens need work
Fairways real good some sand in traps compacted many greens have patched and spotty color
Great course
Condition was superb!
Crowded, but pace was decent. Bag check guy not so happy that he had a full course. Not very welcoming.
Other than that- bartender was great and cart girl was there when needed.
Left Course After 8 Holes
My wife and I play this course a lot. And generally it is great. Today was one of those top 5 worst ever golf experiences. The course was overbooked to start (good for the course and golf though) and was tolerable at first. Then the foursome in front of us decided to become a 3-some and single. And the single was playing multiple balls working on his game. I called the pro shop twice and was told twice they would send someone out to correct the situation. Never happened. Only thing positive is I bet the wife $1 he would hook his tee shot in the water. Won $2 because he tried twice. You should not allow several groups to wait on a single. Come on Brunswick Plantation--you are better than this.
