Beautiful course, a must play if in the area
This course has beautiful views, it is quite challenging for a mid range- handicapper, and
it will test your game. Worth a trip.
Don't lose out on playing Sequoyah
The day started great with hitting some balls on the range with a cozy fire started in a campfire closely. Views were just incredible with late fall colors still vibrant. The course was tough to play for the first time. I had the great fortune to play with a couple of members who were friendly and willing to provide some insight on how to play certain holes. The par 4 15th hole was breathtaking with a significant drop from tee to fairway to green. Wish I could have gone back and played again. Overall, the course is exceptionally well kept, lots of interesting character for each hole. I will play again for sure. Also, please know that you have the opportunity to benefit the local community by staying close by or dining, etc. as the area is still recovering from hurricane Helene.
Beautiful
Great course, especially if you get a discounted price like I did on Golf Now. Fun!
Amazing
Incredible course conditions with unbelievable views!!!
Great course
Great course, reccommend it, need to be low handicapp to enjoy. Cart paths are very steep, pay attention, no beer drinking or very little when driving cart. Course looked like it could be on tv.
Sequoyah National - Sensational as Always !
Sequoyah Nat'l is a One of a kind beauty that combines some of the best mountain golf and views you will ever experience. Mark in Pro shop is great along with his staff, and the playing experience is 2nd to none for the shot quality , scenery, conditions of tee boxes, fairways and greens. I make it part of my annual trip to the Cherokee area every fall - a Memorable golf experience - not to be missed !! : : )
Wonderful
Fantastic time, as usual. I'm a single digital handicap and it's always a challenge to break 80.
Beautifully difficult
Wonderful hidden gem and a must play if in the area. We were staying in Gatlinburg and drove over an hour to play. Will be happy to do it again the next time we're in the area.
Beautiful Course!
The course was in immaculate condition and is very challenging! The scenery surrounding the course is breathtaking. Will definitely play again.
Special Place
Played several times making the trip from Asheville just under an hour each way, absolutely worth the effort if you e not played.
Pros:
cool range, balls included
Good gas carts
Incredible views
Nice staff
Well maintained
Great turf
Cons
Slow play sometimes waiting every shot
Tons of unfixed ball marks on what would be perfect greens, sad that people have no respect
Awesome Golf
Can’t wait to visit this course every Labor Day the views never fail to amaze and the course is challenging and well kept with the friendly staff this course is always a must stop
Awesome layout!
Super cool place I played with a few locals that showed me the course. It has an awesome layout. It plays a little short, but the terrain and elevation changes were amazing combined with some amazing views of the smoky mountains at every turn. The pace was a little slow, but it was a holiday so that’s to be expected course was in great shape and I will be back if I am ever in the area
A must play course
I had had expectations. They were exceeded.
Thus will become a course that I travel to from Dallas to play every year on my birthday - September 5.
Amazing course. amazing views
Great Course - But high $$ for Recently Aireated Greens
Great course and layout, fairways and tee boxes were in excellent condition. I was very disappointed to have paid $205 to play with recently punched greens rolling at about 6-7 stimp, greens had not been rolled or cut much at all. Round should have been discounted with the current conditions. Overall just showed up on the wrong week to play this amazing course.
