A must play
Loved this course my wife and I were in Gatlinburg for our 30th anniversary and wanted to play golf. Course was in excellent condition. This will definitely be one that we play again next time we are in the area.
Great course
Generally very well maintained and great scenery. Though, some holes are very difficult to hudge how to play for the first visit player like me. Luckily, we are joined with another couple who kindly guide us. We have very satisfying day of golf. Restaurant is cozy and the staff members are very professional and kind. Love them.
I want my Maggie
Front nine was flat but challenging . Back nine was hilly and more challenging. Great course.
Great experience
Course was in excellent shape. Challenging and fair at the same time. Most greens are huge… so the fun can begin when you start putting. Really nice views on the back none.
Aerated greens.
We enjoyed our round of golf except for the large holes on every green as they had just been Aerated /punched. Otherwise, the course conditions were good.
Beautiful Mountain Course
Had a great time playing this course. Condition was fantastic and the scenery and course layout were top notch. I got paired with a couple of great guys which made the round even more enjoyable. I will definitely be back.
Has become our go to course
We play here whenever we are in town. Tried all the surrounding courses and this one offers the best value for the money. Was in great shape, very lush.
Beautiful course, friendly staff
The course was in pristine condition with true putting greens (not a single 4 putt). Friendly staff and a fantastic BLT in the grill.
The Maggie Valley Review
Maggie Valley is a delightful golf course. Playing for the first time I enjoyed my 18 holes which felt like 2 different golf courses. The Valley properly named was an enjoyable experience with the conditions in great shape. The Mountain was a little more challenging and you could tell as the pace of play was much slower. The Pro Shop selections were a little bare never new if they had a range for use as was not mentioned at check in. Outside staff at check as was prompt and service was great after the round went straight to the car guess outside staff didn’t need the tip money as no one was available to wipe down clubs or ask how the day was. Not a fan when checking in that people sitting on chairs/stools you should stand to welcome visitors to your place if you take pride in it. This is a Troon golf property but didn’t feel like Troon service.
Very Enjoyable
This a very nice layout with challenging holes for a 13 handicap player. Only thing that I would change would be to have a “first cut”; the rough was pretty difficult. Either fairway or rough without a first cut would be improved with a first cut
Nice course
Fun course but we had to quit play due to a severe rainstorm.
No rain check!
