Challenging, and beautiful scenery

Overall had a great day. The challenge and scenery. Tee boxes were a little beat up. But work was shown they are working on. Otherwise greens and all other course conditions were excellent.. Cannot beat the views.

Great day

Experienced a great day and great round at Olde Beau. Had a friend visiting from Florida and wanted him to see the course. He loved it as he shot his best round in some time. Conditions were fantastic. Fortunately for us, but maybe not the course, we seemed to be the only ones out there so pace was great yet had time to soak in the scenery. Will definitely be back.

Great layout, with even better views

Olde Beau is a true mountain course , with a lot of elevation changes, great turf conditions and spectacular views. Some tee boxes were a little rough, but not an issue. The greens were all in excellent condition and rolled true.

I look forward to playing this course again, now that I know how to play some of the tee shots.

Precision golf & tons of fun

Grabbed a hot deal yesterday at Olde Beau and had a blast! Tight fairways lead to shot placement being a must, but each hole is a new challenge and breaks up the monotony of flatland courses. Big elevation changes here with small greens that are surprisingly fair to good to hold on approach shots. Will definitely test your second shot skill to stay out of the ravines. Views are amazing and course conditions were great, clubhouse clean and friendly staff made for a fun day (even though I lost 11 balls). Would play here everyday if I could. Reminds me of Balleyhack with tighter corridors.

Olde Beau is amazing

My 5th trip this year. The drive is 75 minutes each way and worth it.

Had my best round yet. 5 three putts, 2 lost balls and gave it 78. Happy day

Mostly Good

Finally able to get back to Olde Beau, it had been 9 months since last round here. This is one of my favorite courses anywhere, not so much for course conditions but simple because it's so quiet here. If I had any complaints it would be about the inconsistencies in the cart path, since several holes simply do not have any. I think some of this is due to a past reconfiguration for new RV home sites, however, they seem to have made no effort to improve these holes afterwards. The carts here are good, but slightly older models. If this helps keep the cost of a round of golf reasonably priced then I have no problem with this. No GPS here either, so your first round here you may spend a bit of extra time having to ride forward to see what's over particular hills in the fairways. Fairway grass is here May cause some higher handicap golfers problems. Not very cushy as it's bluegrass and the soil is a bit firmer than what most golfers are used to. Again, I enjoy this golf course, however, it's going to take most folks at least two rounds here to figure out how to play it properly. Hole #2 is probably my favorite golf hole anywhere, and is also one of the most attractive holes he will ever see..

Awesome course

The course is in great shape. Players are spaced out so that you play at your own pace. The temperature is always a lot cooler that the non-mountain courses.

Beautiful course-quite challenging

My husband and I play this course a couple of times a year. It's beautiful and very challenging. If you're looking for a course that is driver/pitching wedge, this is not for you. If you're up for a good challenge, you've picked the right course. Also, if you have a chance, play in the fall when the leaves have changed. It's beautiful!

Mountain golf at its finest

PSA-if you’re a flatlander, like me, subtract 10° from the forecasted temperature until 11am on a sunny day.

Good range and putting green for pre-gaming.

For first timers, either use the course guidebook provided with your round or get paired with someone who has played there. I was lucky enough to get 2 good guys that satisfied the latter.

All playing conditions were excellent; sand in the bunkers was a little dense for my liking but it was consistent.

Pace of play was great.

Grab an early tee time at Olde Beau and head for the mountains!

Olde Beau is amazing, but more than challenging

If you like open shots and level lies, go to Florida. If you love trying to make shots, Beau will demand it. It's my favorite and I struggle to get withing 5 of my normal score, but I still go back. I have made the 90 commute 3x in last 2 weeks before summer rates kick in

How did they ever build this amazing course

Most mountain courses are in the valley. This is right on top. A very challenging shot makers course. Show up and shoot 10 over normal and consider it a great day wanting another chance. I'm addicted to Olde Beau

Challenging Hill Country course

This Resort and golf course is on the top of a mountain ridge that is both beautiful and challenging with lots of slope and tight greens.. the course was in good shape for April and even though the greens had been aerated recently was still a lot of fun to play. The staff was very pleasant
