Quirky but very enjoyable and interesting

Spectacular views, challenging tee shots and approaches and several very unique holes make Olde Beau (named after the designer's beloved dog) a very enjoyable experience. A couple of the par 5s, most notably the 17th, are unlike anything I've ever played. Hard to describe, but here goes: Iron off the tee finds tree 100 yards out. Layup 65 yards to edge of cliff. Hit 240-yard approach onto green for birdie putt. Trust me, it's a good hole, just different. Lots of elevation change, and plenty of very uphill approaches. Shotmaker's course.

good course but slow

The good news is the greens are pristine and the temperature is always cooler than down the mountain. The bad news is there are always several slow groups on the course. This is a difficult course with many blind shots so a good bit of delay is built in, but sometimes it can be painful.

Not a course for a average golfer

Very tight course with lots of hills hard to walk or ride.

Great layout and views from the course

Great Course, but they had over 14 in of rain within the past two weeks. Some washed out ares on the cart paths. Cart Path only the day we played which made the day longer and more challenging on us.

great course with unbelievable scenery

the course was almost immaculate. Very well maintained. more blind shots than what I'm capable of playing but was still fun. 14 & 15 views were even more spectacular than I expected. you need to play this course.

Beautiful Course with Amazing views!

This was the second time playing the course and it was just as good as the first. Course does have some blind shot so some knowledge does help. Greens were rolling true so I good putt will drop. My best advice for a good score is hit the fairway because the rough here is very penal.

wonderful mountain experience with great golf and colorful leaves for one price

Been here a few times now and the staff is very friendly and accommodating, the course is great and when you play a few times increase the challenge by moving back a set of tees and see how you do then.
I take friends here from all over the world and they love it and it is well worth the 1.5 hr drive to get there. Having mostly played in Holland and Florida it is nice to have some hills and undulations.
