Springdale at Cold Mountain

What a fun course. The front side was kind of a sleeper but the back 9 with the Springdale Mile was a blast. Pace of play was perfect. Staff was friendly. I’ll be back.

Nice place, kind of out there. Putting green by the club house is just stupid. Not even use able. Carts were nice. The golf course. Not really even playable. So tricked up that the average golfer would shoot over 100. Especially if you have never played there, forget it. I golfed with a nice couple, he was a 10 hdcp and shot 90. The greens are unreadable, uphill is downhill and downhill is uphill. Some of the fairways slope so much that we both hit it right down the middle and could not find our golf balls. One hole on our second shot all we could see was 6" of the top of the pin. Just not a fun day of golf.

I love playing this course. Front nine is just a warm up for a challenging back nine. Course is great, staff is friendly and restaurant/bar is solid.

Absolutely worth the drive from the Asheville area. Super fun layout, well cared for. Greens roll true but were slow. Some really interesting holes, would like to play it again. What really makes this place great is the staff. I left my rangefinder on the cart, and Mike drove it all the way back to Asheville for me. WHO DOES THAT?! Would absolutely recommend.

Springdale was real nice course and was in good condition. Many beautiful views and the greens were in good shape. Would play again.

What a fun golf course to play! Went here based on reading reviews, and it was a very pleasant experience. Golf course was in wonderful shape fairways greens. All aspects were well-maintained. Front nine let you ease into the round with some fun playable holes, then you head up the mountain in the back with some target golf. Well worth your time to go play this wonderful track! Staff was incredibly nice and very welcoming, I will be back for sure.

Paid $75 and it was well worth it. I e played here several times and like the course but I don’t think it’s worth their “regular “ rates.

Pace of play was excellent and the course was in good shape.

We are on a family trip and wanted to play golf and saw this course! Was well worth it! Will definitely look to do a stay and play here with some buddies in the future!

The course was a fun layout but the only complaint is that there was no fringe on the greens. It went straight to 2 inch rough which made it impossible for green side chipping. Hole 18 is the gem of the course and should be an example of what the rest of the course could be.

2nd golf trip to Maggie valley/ cherroke area and this is the #1 course we have played at!! Great course conditions, perfect pace of play, nice tablets with golf cart to help play out course. Free range session and balls with round (never seen before) and range even had a sand bunker to practice out of. Not one complaints today. It's not cheap at all but def worth the $$ especailly getting it on a hot deal from golfnow app. They give you tee's, towels, I literally have zero complaints. They say back 9 is very challenging and it was def. More than front but not as bad as I thought. I shot a 41 on back 9 and owned that part of the course (for my skill level). I'd golf here everyday if I could. Not sure why it won't let me upload pics but it was a beautiful mountain course surrounded by either mountains or Gorgeous houses.

I had been meaning to play this course for some time and finally took the opportunity. Very glad that I did. It is an excellent course and I highly recommend it. Although we had a bit of a rain delay, the course was in excellent condition. The back nine is quite challenging, but is worth the effort. All in all, an excellent experience and I will be back.
