This course is in excellent condition. If you can survive holes 13 through 17 under par is a great accomplishment. One of the best public courses in WNC. Highly recommend. A must play course while you’re in the area.

It was the first time that we played the course and we had a great time. The course was in very good condition - considering the time of the year. Most holes are challenging to play but not super difficult. ,The course is nicely nestled into the valley and the rolling mountains. So there are elevation changes, some blind shots and some narrow fairways. The staff was super friendly. We played on a Monday afternoon and pace of play was great. We did not have to wait once and let a few singles play through. The only small downside was that they charged an extra $4.95 convenience fee to the greenfly, don't know if it was because I booked on GolfNow.com.

To be my first round of 26’, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to play. The weather was great and the course was in wonderful condition. The staff was very friendly and would definitely recommend you try this course if you’re looking for a place to play in the WNC area.

Great views, amazing layout. Perfect course to play for new and experienced players. Offers a wide range of play styles with some tricky holes. Best course in Western NC

Course was in good shape for Mid Feb. Windy first 9, calmed down on the back. My only complaint is carts have to be in by 5:45. We had a 1:30 tee time, they locked my cart 5 times, annoying notifications, locking GPS, etc. Either get a ranger out there to move the pace of play along or don't take tee times past 1 PM. We ended up finishing at 6PM, probably would have been about 5:55 or so had they not locked the carts up. As much as I always want 4 hour golf, 4.5 is not out of the norm. We play there 5 x per year

The course is always in good condition. It’s challenging but playable. Could use on course drinks and snacks and bar open more days

This place was awesome !! Great condition for the time of year and amazing views . Can’t wait to go back !!

We played after a night of heavy rain. The course had several wet spot and were instructed to use cart path only on 6 of the 18 holes. Having to do this slowed up play. We waited about 6 - 7 minutes before we could tee off. On the 2nd hole, our lovely video screen reminded us that we were 5 minutes behind schedule and kept doing so all the time. We kept pace with the group in front of us, but were constantly reminded that we needed to step up the pace. There were 3 twosomes in back of us, and decided to be courteous and let one of them play through. The second twosome were acting rude and playing rap music at a loud volume. They shouted at us when we had to wait for the group in front of us. When we complained to the staff about these knuckleheads, they explained to us that we were 22 minutes behind schedule. I questioned what about the groups in front of us, they responded that they were all keeping pace. How do you explain that? We let the knuckleheads play ahead of us and low and behold, they were held up by the group in front of them! To top everything off, we were constantly reminded that all carts MUST be in by 5:30 PM, or they will remotely by shut off. We had to race to finish and finished at 5:31. This tight-assed, AI governed policy is no way to treat customers, especially at $80 / round. The staff was friendly enough but seemed like they weren't trained well enough to handle all the AI tech they were forced to use. We loved the course but hated their strict rules! Ditch the tech and hire another ranger!

Course is very well maintained. The course maintenance was mowing and rolling the greens as well as blowing leaves from the fairways and greens.

Course is very challenging and fair.

The restaurant was very nice with great views from the patio.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but this course exceeded any I might have had. Definitely worth it!

Visiting friends in Waynesville NC played this course among others the first time on a recommendation from a friend . Absolutely fantastic! Played early 8:00 AM tee time. Pace was excellent, conditions excellent, staff excellent , club house excellent, I could go on and on . I received a great rate from golf now ! While in the Waynesville area a real must play , did I mention the views, outstanding!!!!! A must play for me !! Check out you will not be disappointed!!!

Springdale GC was a great place to play on Wed 10/01/25. Course was in very good condition, after an all day rain the day before. BIG greens, GPS on all carts, subtle undulations on each green, make it challenging, but still very fun! Course has gorgeous views! Easily my favorite course in the Waynesville/Maggie Valley, Canton area. Go play this course!

Springdale Golf Club is a special place. If it weren’t so far from my home I would become a member. The golf course is beautiful, maintained well, the buildings are wood and stone and all put together the experience is very pleasing and thoroughly enjoyable
