Springdale at Cold Mountain

Nice course, nice people and perfect day. Only complaint is we had to start on #10- - back nine is harder, would have been nice to warm up some.

Pulling up to the course, I was setting myself up for some disappointment. You can see the front nine and it looks pretty basic. My only thought was, this looks boring!!!

My mind quickly changed once I hit the course. Yes, the front is pretty basic but the back nine is absolutely wonderful. Every hole was a challenge and you had to play within your game.

The carts had gps systems that provided all the detail you needed to make your decisions. They carts were clean, newer and handled very nicely.

The pro shop looked new as well as the restaurant and athletic club. They had a nice area between the lodge and pro shop where kids could enjoy themselves. After all, it is part of a resort.

The staff were all friendly and courteous. I truly enjoyed the experience and would definitely play there again if I travel through the area.

We normally grab a bite after our round however, the food at the turn left us a little more than disappointed and we didn’t want to chance it again.

But then again, it’s about the golf!!!

Staff is always friendly, and the course was in great shape. Some repairs ongoing still from Helene, but playing areas are in good shape.

Played here for 20 years. My husband says this is a funky golf course because of the layout. I love it because of the views and the creative shots that are needed to play here.

Course is in the best shape I’ve ever seen it, greens are fast and true, and fairways are like carpet. Play her and see what you think.

This course was in great shape. You could see where they had some hurricane damage but did a great job fixing it up. The greens were a little sandy so that slowed them down a little bit but I thought they rolled true. Fairways were in spectacular condition. Will definitely play again

Love this golf course, but ONLY time we play is 1 or 2 times each year using GolfNow to get an affordable cost (for us) $60 is out Max. cost !

Greens were firm and hard, great shape, like the rest of course ! Mountain Views are super nice; even though we are from Franklin, NC

In summer they are to high, I guess due to the "richer" resort traffic that comes there!?

Love the layout. But the meal after each game is AMAZING and worth it ! Love the Rib steak sandwich this time! A steak that fits the bun. GREAT service ! Have one pix of the smaller fire there 3-28-25 about mile away. Go play here if you can afford it.
