Talamore and Mid South Golf Resort

Course was in great shape tee to green. Enjoyed the layout. Definitely a course i would put on the list for a Pinehurst golf trip

greens=great shape and good speed

Fairways=nice shape

Tee boxes=nice shape

Cart=worked very well

Driving range=hit off of mats not great

Overall=very satisfied with routing and course conditions

Pace of Play=(F-Minus) terrible pace of play 5 hours and 20 minutes.

Inexcusable. Never saw a Marshall.

Had the 9:30 tee time this morning, walked off the course at 2:40pm. Waited on every shot. There was not a beverage cart and the half way house was closed while in season. Very pretty golf course with excellent conditions however the pace of play was unacceptable. I will not be back.

It was beautiful, fun and challenging. Only disappointing part of the day was the rain. Hope to play again

So got the deal of pretty much half off its normal 149 hot deal. Which I get it’s a resort corse. I would have shot myself paying that much or the base price for this course. It is was nice. The bunkers, although easy to avoid (had to put a ball in the bunker just for the experience as I landed one 3 feet for the bird). The layout. The ambiance. It’s no challenge unless you play the tips as I did then it becomes long irons into par 4’s. Gets technically tricky. Greens overall firm, not fast fast but rolled true.

Overall it gets a 4.2

Not worth its price. If you can get a hot deal and a 30 percent off then take it for sure. Or do a package stay with their company and play other courses as well.

Played Talamore in pinehurst, a gem of a course. Id u r im pinehurst this course should be in ur list. Fairways and greens are in perfect condition. Course is challanging and fun to play. Will Definitely return again.

Added Talamore last minute to add an afternoon round to our trip. Course was in decent shape - greens and bunkers definitely the highlight here. That said, layout is pretty mundane. I wouldn't go out of my way to play here if you're looking for the best golf in the Pinehurst area, especially if you're traveling in from out of town.

Played Pinehurst courses, Tot Hill Farm, and Tobacco Road…This course is right up there being a must play! Fun layout with beautiful picturesque holes!

It was my first time playing at the course to celebrate my 40th birthday and it was absolutely amazing! I feel like I played my second best golf of the year at this particular course and what a great way for me to do it while celebrating my birthday along with the two other people I was paired up with that made it even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this course to anyone that loves the game.

Beautiful course. Great practice facility. Wide forgiving fairways. Approaches can be challenging. We would totally play there again.
