Reviews
Talamore Golf Experience
I’ve played a lot of the Pinehurst area courses and this one is right up there with the best of them. Outstanding off-season value vs the more expensive tracks. Greens were perfect, course was super unique with pot bunkers spread throughout and overall interesting layout that was very playable. Will definitely be playing again soon
Talamore Good Winter Course
Course was in good shape for winter golf. Greens, tees, and bunkers all were playable - they have mats on the Par 3 tees, understandable to protect the tees, but makes playing a long iron an extra challenge. A couple of the Par 3's are quite long. The llamas are a special treat to see. Choose your tee box wisely, the cold weather really lengthens the course.
Great condition
This course is fantastic! The layout is great with some unusual holes that require strategic shots. Greens have multiple levels which makes for tough putts if your approach shot isn't accurate. The course is in great shape and the greens are true and relatively fast. And whatever you do, stay away from the pot bunkers that are all around the greens! Will definitely play again in the future. One of my favorite courses!
Awesome day of golf. Had never played this course before but was very impressed with the course, staff, layout, bar area. Had a great day, will definitely be back.
GREAT!
Had an early morning time so I could get home for a family gathering for the holidays. It was cold but no delay, the bar was open and ready. Course was in good shape like always and it’s always good to see Tag Leon in the golf shop.
Always a great place to play
Great shape for almost winter. Love the layout better value than the cheaper courses at Pinehurst.
Fantastic and fun course!
Played here on a Carolinas Golf Association deal and had a blast! Fantastic course, very gettable and fun to play. Greens were immaculate and quick. Got paired with a threesome that was part of a group on a buddies trip and they couldn’t have been nicer and welcoming. Shot 1 over par from the blues which was nice. One quick tip… try to book a morning tee time. Pace of play can get gnarly in the afternoon. Definitely recommend.
Solo Jams
I had a blast playing here for the first time. I teed off alone as the second time of the day behind a foursome of members, who promptly let me by once I caught them. The course was in incredible shape and it’s a very appropriate test, with plenty of tee boxes to choose from, and huge greens with multiple pin locations and I noticed a couple of the holes even have separate sets of tee decks. You can tell a lot of time and resources are put into maintaining the course conditions, of which they’re quite proud. There’s a quiet elegance to this place, and you’d hardly notice you’re surrounded by a neighborhood. A lot of well-designed holes make excellent use of a formidable property.
Shoutout to William who was running the carts. I have a hard time believing anyone could have a conversation with him without a few laughs.
Very good
We played Thanksgiving Day. Was in great shape all the way around
Good track in great shape.
Good layout. Great shape. Friendly staff. Greens were fast and smooth. Fun track.
Excellent Course!
This is a very nice course. The staff were friendly. The course is beautiful and well maintained. Definitely put it on your bucket list when visiting the Pinehurst area.
Love the course
Course conditions were great. Pace of play could have been better. Greens are beautiful. Wish my game was as nice as the course.
