Talamore and Mid South Golf Resort

First time playing out at Talamore and played solo. Staff is very friendly and pricing on everything from food to beer to merchandise is very reasonable. Conditions were excellent across the course including some of the best greens I have played on this year. One minor complaint is the lack of free range balls at a course this price. However, overall an awesome experience and would play again if I am in the area.

This golf course is the best in the area that is available on GolfNow. I’m a scratch golfer and one that cares a lot about the consistency of a course . Talamore never disappoints me . The greens are fast and true but they hold and receive shot to the green very consistently. The overall course is top notch . Always look forward to playing Talamore

We were the last morning group. The maintenance crew would cut the tee boxes, fairways, and greens, as well as top dress the greens as we finished each hole. The course was in FANTASTIC shape and was a great layout. Very beautiful. Pace of play was about 4:15, so not bad. Everyone was very friendly (chatted with the grounds crew a few times). Greens are extremely fast (about 12 on the Stimp, we were told). They were fast and true (can you tell I had a good day?). We would definitely play again!

Great Course in Great Condition. Greens were almost perfect. Would have liked to see some upgrades to the ammenities for the price of a normal round. I paid with some coupons, so was happy but at full price would like to see free range balls,, or upgrades to the carts. No Coolers.

Talamore is my favorite course in the area. It’s a beautiful course design with challenging greens and bunkers but fun none the less. It’s a must play if you’re in the area for golf.

The putts can’t be trusted, the greens were punched last weekend or so, will need a few weeks to roll better.

The course design and conditions other wise were fantastic.

I played this course when I was in Pinehurst. I was looking for courses that rivaled the Pinehurst playing experience without the Pinehurst cost. I enjoyed this layout, gives you everything you want in a Sandhills course. I will play it again on my next trip...

Course provided no head sup that greens were aerated. Would’ve played elsewhere had I known. Not worth $80-90 with slow, sandy greens.

Played the course a day after a heavy rain. Greens were aerated a week before. That said, great track to play. Lots of hills and water. Course would be a beast with fast greens.

Very nice course with a great layout. The only negative is it took over 5.5 hours to play and I didn’t see one Marshall out there

I was a single and played behind a 5-some. They had 6 groups of four ahead of them. No ranger. Very disappointing. The course itself seem to be in good shape, but the pace of play was totally unacceptable
