About The Waynesville Inn Golf Resort & Spa
The Waynesville Inn Golf Resort & Spa is a historic, western North Carolina property dating back to 1926. It features 111 guest rooms and suites as well as the Balsams Spa. After a two-year closure, Waynesville Inn & Golf Club reopened in 2023 after a comprehensive renovation by architect Bobby Weed that honored the routing of Donald Ross’ original nine holes while updating the rest of the property to form a challenging, scenic and brand-new 6,500-yard par-71 routing open to members and overnight resort guests. Outdoor mountain adventures, Maggie Valley and the historic town of Waynesville are located nearby.Facts

great scenery
There was a foursome in front of my two but we refused to play through. We were more than content to look at the mountains between strokes. The greens rolled true and the speeds were consistent throughout the course. Great value for the money
Surprising
What a very nice course tucked away in a wonderful little NC town. The staff was unbelievable nice and hospitable. This is a challenging course mostly because the small size of the greens and the slope once you get to putt. If you can hit these greens in regulation, you can play anywhere! I would definitely play Waynesville Inn again.
Beautiful scenery
I've played all the courses in the Waynesville area and this is by far the nicest. The course was in awesome condition. The staff was extremely friendly and the greens were great.
The greens are in superb condition and the course is very playable.
The Carolina nine and the Dogwood nine make for a great mixture of holes that give even mid to high handicappers the feeling they can score well. Do not let the distance on the card fool you... these golf holes have a way of naturally guarding themselves and making for a fun challenge. This is a great hot deal if it is available.
Ggreat Course
I was visiting my brother in Maggie Valley and we played the Waynesville CC twice thru Golf Now. Booking was easy and Every person employed by the course was friendly and polite. Facility was clean and neat. Golf course was in good shape expecially the greens.
Great course had a great round. Others enjoyed also
Great really enjoyed played a good round. all others enjoyed also
Has a lot of elevation.
Enjoyed the course. Beautiful setting. Three nine-hole course. In great condition.
Beautiful
This is a beautiful mountain course. The greens were absolutely perfect. Most true roll I have ever seen.
Short course and really fun to play
Played this course as a stopover in Waynesville for the last several years. It's a really short course, but has some tricky holes. Well maintained and worth the golfnow rate. The standard rate is probably too much to pay for this course, but is worth searching the online rate, if your schedule can be flexible. It's a good atmosphere, while staying at the attached Inn.
Everything was great, checkin, course
Checkin was a breeze, didn't even need my prepaid paper work, course was in great shape, speed of greens was just a little slow, overall Great...
Course is hilly but challenging!
Loved the course and the gorgeous views! It was well maintained and the staff was very friendly. We are considering this course for a group outing soon!
Excellent experience
I visited this course while on vacation from Florida. I must say, I had never seen or played on anything quite like this course before. The course itself was in great condition, the atmosphere was even better, and it was visually stunning. It was a great experience for someone used to playing in the flat lands. On top of that, the staff was as nice as could be and was happy to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend this course.
3 9 hole courses; having options is a plus. great course for us short hitters
Few quirky holes. The staff was really nice and the course is in great shape. Great buy on the hot deal. Great course to play with the wifey; not too long.
Great resort golf
Greens in super shape. Always fun to play this historic resort. Very friendly resort staff. Golf view rooms perfect for golfers. Golfnow deal great value.
Fun
Waynesville is always a good time. It's in great shape, the greens are challenging and the setting is breathtaking!
this course has beautiful views of the mountains
this is a very nice old course, with golf now you can play for
a very good price
In great shape, and greens were incredible.
I strongly recommend this course for intermediate players and up. It is challenging and in excellent shape. It is not a recommended walking course unless you want to walk 9 holes on the flat section of the course.
Outstanding scenery, condition and staff. Highly recommended.
Excellent Short Game Test
Beautiful layout. Shorter from the tees, but plenty of opportunities to use all the clubs in your bag. Excellent greens and nice fairways. 27 hole layout provides a nice variety of play with elevation changes and shot-shapes. Would highly recommend this course for all skill levels, just keep up the pace of play.
The course has great views.
Very difficult. But for the golf now price a very good deal.
Like this course
I just moved to Waynesville 1 month ago and was looking for a course to play regularly. I'm a decent golfer 12 handicap and found that from the Blue tees this course was challenging enough for me. Not long but very interesting holes. Place is nice and staff is quite friendly. Not worth the $64.00 reg price but at 28-40 reasonable. Most Western Carolina courses have a Senior rate, wish they had one here. Reccomend this facility highly.
