Great course I enjoy it.
Great course and super friendly people.
First ever visit here and before I even started the round I was ready to come back. Great people.
Enjoyable game
The marshal paired me up with another single player and we had a great time. The pace was just right which made it more enjoyable and less nervous
Worth the price
Course was in great shape. Only negative was there were a few dry spots on tee boxes. Green speed was good and bunkers in good shape.
Worth the price!!
The course was in great shape. Tough course in the windy conditions, but course conditions was great.
Nice layout
they were renovating the club house. Kinda hard to navigate if its your first time thier .well maintained fairways and greens .The grass on the tee boxes was way to tall and needed attention
Rough too deep
While the fairways are wide the rough on this course for a resort style course is just to penalizing
Other than that it’s fun to play
Air conditioning while you play
It is quite helpful to watch the videos of each hole which are either available on the course's website or in the GPS-enabled golf cart. Bottled water is included with the round, and my cart included ice in the cooler.
The clubhouse is under construction. Ergo, the Winstar Golf Academy is where to buy golf products temporarily while check-in for the round is near the clubhouse. Regarding the title of the review, the temporary portable restroom trailer is pleasant and is air-conditioned just like the set of restrooms on each nine.
The golfing experience was a lot more pleasant when avoiding the deeper rough as well as the fescue.
The amount of $ I paid was after discounts.
Great Golf in Souther Oklahoma
Played on a Thursday morning. Great pace of play. Drink cart checked on us 4 times thru our round with free water! If you can keep it in the fairway, it’s not a great challenge, but if you spray it, you can find some long grass. Great experience and worth the money.
Great track!
Love getting to play this course. Fun and fair layout. Definitely worth the drive.
Late Friday 18
Loved the layout and course conditions. Played the blue tees and worked out perfectly. Nice challenging par 4s. Rough can be penal, but fairways were immaculate.
Fun course
The only issue was course too wet in some areas due to watering
Great value hot deals
The course was in great shape. Fescue is very penal. Of course if you stay in the short grass, which is what you are supposed to do, the course is great in all aspects. Greens are moderate but they don't break like normal. For example uphill putts usually go right but not here. Again that's a great challenge to the experience. Honestly I wouldn't pay 70.00 to play it but it is worth it for 55.00 or under.
Great Day of Golfing
First time playing either of the courses at Winstar. Normally don’t see them on my selection criteria due to living west of Fort Worth. I changed my location to something in the northern part of I35 in TX and it came up with the two Windstar courses.
Arrived early to do play some blackjack and hit some balls on the range and putt a bit. My son an I were paired with a gentleman who had played the course many times and he helped us on the layout of the holes and where to hit, though the balls didn’t quite cooperate.
The greens were the best we have seen in the area in a long time. Every green was consistent which made it much easier to read and not.3 putt the day away.
I broke my driver on the front 9 and was given a demo driver for the back at no charge. They didn’t even ask for a license to make certain I didn’t steal it. The driver was fantastic and I hit it better than my own.
It was really warm and the beverage person came by every few holes with feee water which was a tremendous help to keep hydrated.
I would recommend these courses to anyone who wants to make the drive as it was truly a great day from start to finish.
