About Winstar World Casino and Resort
The WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville started as a bingo hall on the Texas-Oklahoma border in 1991 but has grown into the largest casino resort in the world. Nowhere else features a larger collection of electronic games – more than 8,100, plus 100 table games, a 55-table poker room, bingo and more. The 1,399-room hotel complex houses 19 restaurants and 12 bars, a spa and shopping. The 36-hole WinStar Golf Club includes a state-of-the-art golf academy. Both the Scissortail and Redbud courses were expanded to 18 holes in 2017 by D.A. Weibring, a five-time winner on the PGA Tour. The 3,500 Global Event Center regularly showcases big events.Facts

Greens coming in
Over all in great shape. Most of the greens were good, others coming in good. Tee boxes and fairways are in awesome shape
Casino & Golf
Great Course, had a great time. I will be back with my friends.
Thank you.
Can’t beat the price
Always great to play there’s some patchy dead spots throughout the course but nothing to complain about much
Rained out
I enjoy playing here but unfortunately the weather didn’t allow for it this time. I hope that GolfNow provides a refund.
Good time, will likely try again
This was my first time playing both course at Winstar. I was a little disappointed with the condition of the greens. Most of them were in below avg shape with large bare patches. I was paired with another player who had played within the past 2 months and said they were not like that the prior round. Not sure what was happening with the greens, but otherwise I enjoyed the courses and would like to try it again if the greens are better. Played from the blues and seemed a little shorter than I am used to. Maybe will play the back tees next time.
ScissorTail
I have always enjoyed playing at Windstar, however, the course was not in the best shape. The greens were in the worst shape, many areas appeared to be painted dirt. The tee boxes were like the greens, as well as rough and dry. The fairways were ok for this time of year. None of the sand traps had a take either. Very disappointed in this round. Because i have been here when it was beautiful.
Great Course!
Overall there isn’t a bad thing about this course. Open fairways, cheep drinks, great greens! Loved everything about it!
Scissortail
Scissortail was in good shape for winter golf, with a good price at that time of year, the greens rolled very nice and the pace of play was on time all day
