The 9th at Eagle Crest Challenge course. This is a long 120 from the White's and 15 short is way worse than 15 long. Photo submitted by Jemayer230 on 11/26/2012

There are benches on this course for good reason. Photo submitted by Jemayer230 on 10/20/2012

My wife really like the course. No long par 5's. 9 par 4's and 9 par 3's. Good couples course.
Fun course
Fun course with enough challenge to keep your interest. Course was in excellent shape. The greens had been recently aerated, but this was known before booking. Would like to play the course again with greens at their normal speed and break....
Eagle Crest Ridge
When signing up and confirming reservation, I was not notified of the plugging and sanding of the greens. would have played elsewhere if known
nice course.
The condition was good. It was dry, but we are in a drought so you have to expect that. This is the second time I have played this course. It has nice views., good course marshals and interesting set up. Some of the shorter holes are some of the toughest. Greens a bit bumpy.
Fun round of golf
3 1/2 hours. Fun a little to windy. As to be expected this time of year though.
Great course
Love this course as provides challenges with every shot. A little slow today, the starter had to break up a 5 some ahead of us...but that did not speed it up much.
Good shape for February play
This course is fun and great for improving the short game
Challege Course
Can't beat the warmest part of a Winter day on a challenge course for $20!! Have played the course 4 times now and would play again tomorrow if I had the time.
Great fun course
We had great time even in cool weather. Course in great shape for winter. Loved all the deer. They were patient with us invading their space. :)
Mid-winter jewel
Scored a perfect mid-winter day to play golf in Central Oregon. 59 degrees, no wind, crystal clear skies. Course was amazingly green for January. Just a touch of sogginess in a few low spots along with the occasional patch of snow. Neither hindered play in any way. The Challenge Course is always good, but this was an exceptional day for this time of year.
golfer
good condition for this time of year, greens roll good,
fairways mowed down and fairly smoooth, however should have had the plugs of the tee boxes picked up, messy
Enjoyable Course
Staff was very friendly. 2nd tee time of the morning, got paired with a couple who were local members. I decided to ride in order to play faster. Although the front nine was more enjoyable than the back nine, course has some interesting challenges. The juniper trees caused me alot of issues as I seemed to always land behind one.
Course has chipping/pitching green and separate putting green. Also has a range.
Overall I enjoyed my day and I would play again.
Great qucik play on a good challenging course.
This is a nice place to be able to play a shorter, but challenging course. The greens fees are a little on the high side, & the cart fee seemed pretty high compared to other comparable courses in the area.
Enjoyable
For a very hot day it was great to see the course in such lush green condition. Greens were quick and upfront pins made it difficult. The blue tees play relatively short so for the more advanced player I would suggest the black tees. Great fun
One More Time Around
Redmond, OR area, played 10/6 at Eagle Crest ( 2 reg., 1 exec. course) Course is in superb shape--weather 70-85* all week.Played poorly, enjoyed greatly. Great bargain via Hot List on Golf Now. Believe this weather not unusual for Eagle Crest in Oct. Course flat after#2-3. Mod # traps.Minimal H2O. OB's possible, but fairways generous. Greens mod. undulating. Could handfeed deer at Pro shop
Nice!
Very nice resort-style course., very well maintained.
Superb October Day
I have played The Ridge course at Eagle Crest for many years and this particular day was perhaps the finest ever in terms of course condition and weather. Absolutely spectacular in every way. If my entire round of play had only matched I'd have guessed I died and was in the afterlife.
Always a Great Choice
I have played here many times while visiting Eagle Crest Resort but this was the first time my wife (a beginning golfer) played with me.
The weather was not great but we headed out earlier than our tee time when there was a break in the clouds. We appreciated the staff's willingness to let us go prior to our reserved time.
The course was in great shape and it plays well for a wide variety of abilities. A couple of suggestions:
1. Consider adding an additional set of tees between the whites and the reds. There was a twosome of guys in front of us playing the whites and they should have been on the reds. Perhaps they would have played a set of tees forward if there was something before the reds. (Some guys don't want to play "Ladies Tees.) Golf courses should never call tee boxes by gender - only color! I think the guys ahead of us would have had more fun playing a more forward set and would have gone faster!
2. We would have benefited from a marshal on the course helping these two guys to speed it up.
Other than that, we had a great time and look forward to playing at Eagle Crest again! There are some great views and lots of deer roaming the course.
Nice course at a discount
Course was in pretty good shape. Overall experience was good but would have liked to have more yardage references. Only the blue tees had permanent markers to denote where the distances were measured, so if you are playing whites and the tees aren't in their normal position the yardage will be off. Also none of the sprinklers have yardages so you only have the 100-150-200 spots to go from. I did appreciate the distance to the hazards off the tee on the scorecards.
great test
Course was in amaculate shape thought. It was just basic executive course but far from that quite challeging. And whole lotta fun we walked I would recomend getting power cart this is not flat course alot of up aznd downs. But well worth playing cant wait to get back
