Double books tee times
Played there with a 4 some and ended up getting jumped on our early tee time. 2 groups claimed they booked the same time which threw off the rest of the pace. For the entire day everyone had 4 groups lined up at the tee box no matter the hole. Groups in front of us chose not to finish their rounds. The course is nice and kept well, however the style of play is poor. FYI the local senior communities play for free so if you get jumped on your tee time or all of a sudden have 4 groups behind you, you know why. Play at your own risk.
Excellent Value and Great Pace of Play
Played this afternoon with my father. Pace of play was very good. We were paired up with another gentleman to make a threesome. Played 18 holes in 3 1/2 hours. Both Conleys and Suncrest are owned by St Barnabas and are excellent values for public golf courses.
Not worth the 40$ per round
Very confusing cart paths and staff is not friendly. Will never go back. Not worth 40$ per 18
The course was in good shape considering the weather and was actually pretty fun to play. That being said pace of play was atrocious. Waited on the tee box 3 times while a foursome in front were teeing off yet no play through. Had to skip a hole to get by. Do not recommend this course if looking to get a round in the typical 4-4.5 hours
Good course. Great value
Course was in good shape for being early in the season and having just rained. Layout is challenging while not being outrageously difficult. Not a long course from the white tees. The yardage on #1 is way shorter than what is advertised on the scorecard. It’s actually a short par 4 but listed as a 480 yd par 5. I hit driver, 9 iron to the green. Felt good to get that birdie after a two putt so I’m not arguing. Would return for sure.

Great course only one bad thing grass to bigh in front of greens the ranger is very considerate and friendly
Pace sucks
First hole the ranger send us behind a big group had to wait for two foursomes on front and a twosome si we T 15min latter than my setup time had to skip two holes. Somebody is not doing their job right for sure!
All Downhill, not in a good way
Haven't played this course in about a year. The new owners don't seem to care about maintaining it. Great course for FREE ( to St. Barnabas residents) but not worth paying for. None of the fairways or rough were taken care of anymore. Grass clippings everywhere for your ball to hide under. Greens were not in great shape, bunkers were hard as a rock with rakes left in them. And, what's that smell? Sadly, it was once a nice, well maintained course. I am sure it will have patio homes for senior citizens on it soon!
Excellent shape for time of year
I was very impressed with how nice of shape the course was in for so early in the golf season. The greens were soft but quick. My only complaint is the length of the course from the senior tees being to short. When I play this course again it will be from the white tees.
A 4:57 tee time was too late in the evening to play 18 holes. I had to stop after 12 holes because of darkness.
Course needs more attention, better upkeep
The course and facility is tired looking. Fairways and greens needed to be cut lower. A lot of high weeds around the tees. Cart break barely worked and gas peddle was finicky as well as broken windshield. No excuse for bad maintenance. Ok for practice as long as you can get a low price on hold now. Definitely not worth regular price. Don’t think I will return. Sister course Suncrest down the road is in better condition and a better value.
Pace of play
Pace of play was slow due to holiday. I played as a single player front 9 but joined the twosome at the turn.
Great value, great course
Played on a Saturday and the pace was nice and relaxed. A great course and close to my new house!
Short course , terrible layout
Hadn’t played the course in years prior to lastest round. I quickly remembered why. The 2 par 5’s (1 & 7) and the two par 3’s are the only holes that are worth playing on the front. The back 9 is a little better but the mirror image holes of 11 and 12 are two of the most ridiculous golf holes in western Pa. You will find yourself hitting short clubs (7-9irons) off both tees leaving a wedge to the green on both these holes. It seems they had space constraints and shoehorned these holes in to the area. The pace of play was also anger inducing. Word has it that a local retirement facility now owns the course and it’s residents golf for free. They were out in force hacking it up on the day I played there. Whereas we were 3 deep on every tee. Lakevue North is literally hundreds of yards away, and has a more challenging track with a better layout and it’s less $$$. I for one don’t intend on going back to conleys.
