About Pocono Manor Resort & Spa
Life changed at Pocono Manor on Nov. 1, 2019, when a fire ripped through the historic inn, causing significant damage that's led to an ongoing closure. Although there are plans to renovate and rebuild, only the golf course is currently open. Currently, golfers looking to stay and play the historic course can book accommodations at nearby partner properties through the resort website. There is food available in the clubhouse.Facts

Course is in nice condition
Cart paths need repair to get a higher rating
Great for the price
My son and I played here for the first time. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in great shape.
Great round
good round of golf almost beat the rain could use a little update the cart path
I like this quirky course, but maintenance has slipped a little this year. Several greens had some bare spots and rough patches, as did many fairways. Cart paths are falling apart. And most of the green forward tees were on the same tee box as reds. There needs to be a middle ground for the forward tees. All this is fixable, and hope they make these improvements soon.
Enjoyable
This is a really great course to play for the price. Not much in the way of water or sand traps, but some of the holes have a rustic mountain challenge to them.
I play here fairly often and enjoy it
Course needs work
The cart paths are in very bad shape.
The greens look like they have weeds.
Pace of play was not great until the ranger stepped up!
Fun day at Pocono Manor
Pace of play was not good until the new Ranger an Air Force veteran stepped up and moved the groups to savedl the day.
Very disappointing
The overall course conditions were not good. Maintenance, and course conditions are lacking. Felt like the owners are getting ready to sell
Hats off to the Ranger
Just wanted to give a shout out to the new ranger at the course. He did his service to the country in the Air Force but stepped up his game on Friday and really took control of the pace of play.
Poor conditions
Cart path in very bad condition. Holes, cracked blacktop. Golf cart jumped when driver pressed gas pedal. Driver had to turn off the engine in order to restart it. Tee boxes in poor shape as well as putting greens.
Super tough greens
First time playing this course, the front 9 punches you in the mouth early with a lot of tricky holes including the famous #7. The greens are tiny and very very fast, mostly because you never really see pin high on them. I’m not saying they’re as difficult as Augusta’s greens or anything cause we know that’s not true but like at Augusta there are very few flat spots and your ball will roll off the green quite a bit if you don’t pick your spots. It is for sure a shot makers course. All in all great course with a lot of history. I will be back
