The historic 80-room Shawnee Inn sits in a bucolic setting along the Delaware River. It is home to the River Room Restaurant, Buckwood Café, an indoor pool and hot tub, a fitness center, arcade, spa and salon and brewery. There are other homes for rent and glamping, too. Amenities and entertainment includes live music, guided hikes and river trips, hayrides, archery, ax throwing, a beach, tennis courts, and more. The 27-hole golf course once hosted the PGA Championship. It features 18 holes on an island in the river.Facts

Always a treat
This course never disappoints. Quick overnight trip with boys . We played all three courses and as usual they did not disappoint. Course is in very good shape. Greens are flawless. Staff is ver y friendly and professional. Special shout out to Travis the young man who weaved his way through what seem like a debacle sorting bags and tee times etc. good job young man….
Nice course
You are technically playing on a small island in the Delaware River. They rebuilt the bridge and renovating some holes.
Overall still a great place to play.
Deceptively Challenging
I played the Red and Blue courses. The fairways are wide open, but the rough is extremely thick. I wasn't the only golfer losing balls in the thick grass, resulting in a slow pace on the Blue course. The greens are undulating and in great shape. I played far from my best round, but the people were all friendly. Overall, a nice time.
Staff kudos
We arrived early for our tee time and the starter got us out right away. Later the player assistant assured us that we could finish even though it was getting dark.
Enjoyable course, some changes due to bridge construction
Enjoyed Shawnee — staff was excellent, in particular, John, who was setting us up on carts and giving directions. He was incredibly friendly and thorough.
The course was in good condition on the fairway and greens. I played at twilight so the rate was a great value, but not sure I’d feel the same if I pid to play at peak times. Played the white and red nine hole sections, which had a couple holes with greens and tee boxes rearranged due to bridge construction. Overall, it was enjoyable and fun, and despite a lot of golfers on the course, pace was great — played 18 in 3 hours.
Nice course
Pleasantly happy with the course. Conditions were good despite the rain from the previous night. They are building a new bridge and modified two holes temporarily while they are building the bridge.
Nice brewery on site. Highly recommend, stop at the brewery on your way out, they also have food.
Not worth it
Snack bar only at 1st hole no cart girl signature hole closed 60 dollar greens fee
Great course! Fairways, greens and bunkers are all in great condition. Great day at a beautiful course
