Slow play.
We played behind 2 foursomes that were very deliberate. Should have play at least one tee up. At hole 10, a twosome drove ahead of us and started playing. We called a very dis-interested pro shop and after much conversation he said a ranger would be sent out. They never showed up. Back nine took 3 hours.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
We played as a twosome which was very nice. First 9 was on the Bear Course which was in bad condition, muddy and bad turf. Second 9 was on the Fox Course which was in better condition. In general they need to put up signs and yardage markers that are accurate. Many times the scorecard yardage was WAY off and once you're in the fairway there is no way to check distances!
An OK course among many available options in Myrtle
Of the 3 courses I played this week, in and around Myrtle, this was the least impressive. We were directed to play the Bear and the Fox 9-hole tracks, Conditions on the Bear were a bit rough, with incomplete (lacking green grass) fairways, notable mud ruts, rough cart paths, and scruffy tee boxes. Greens were ok but slower (and less true) than our other two courses (Sea Trail - Byrd, and Prestwick CC). The more temperate speed was appreciated, but countered by a less predictable roll. The Fox course seemed like it belonged to a different complex altogether. It was in better shape, had a more open and more interesting layout, and more impressive. Overall, averaging the two nines, would say the experience was just that: average. Commensurate with the $35 GolfNow price. Good pace of play. Starter got us out on time. Nice hot dog at the turn!
Nice but not easy
Course was in good shape and staff was friendly and helpful, but this is not a course for beginners. Most olds have several mounds that make shots roll in trouble areas. Bunkers are deep and greens have lots of insulation. No real complaints just realize you need some real ability to score well here.
Nice course
Greens were good, tee boxes were not, layout was good, no bathrooms on the course.
Absolutely awesome!
I thought this golf course was going to be gimmicky and fake, but boy was i wrong. This was an awesome experience. All 18 holes are different and inspired by famous holes from around the world. For those of us who can't have access to such places, this golf course makes you feel that you're playing at the best of the best of golf. The overall course conditions were immaculate, especially being winter time. Entire course was plush and green and the greens were stunning. The staff was super friendly, especially the starter. If you're in Myrtle Beach, please visit World Tour Golf Links, you won't be disappointed.
crazy bridges
Great course for the money. loved the layout. a little wet. but will be back
Overall very positive
Overall very positive. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course was a swamp and we played others during the wet weather which drained much better. I’ll be back in the dry weather because we enjoyed the course
