Very beautiful course very fun to play recommend to play. Only thing I can say is bring plenty of bug spray other than that a must play
Gnats, Gnats, Gnats
The young lady who checked us in was very nice. That's where the pleasantness ends. Gnats, gnats, gnats and just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, more gnats. We couldn't enjoy our round. We will not be back.
needs some work
crabgrass on the greens.
large ruts in the fairways
great layout
Conditions were wet due to recent heavy rains
Tough putting due to wet conditions. Hole 9 green needs help. Unfortunately there are the tiny flying bugs. Had Fun! Great staff!
course in great shape
Course was in good shape considering the 5" of rain days before. Greens not cut due to weather and rolled slow but were in good shape. Overall, wonderful to play
Don’t waste your time
After a very busy month, my husband and I were looking forward to a relaxing g weekend of golf. We we’re both very disappointed in this course. The greens were in horrible condition, the course itself more resembles a putt putt layout than a golf course, and very poorly marked relating to distances. We wished we would have played at other courses in the area that we were familiar with. The only thing this course has going for it is the views of our beautiful Smokey Mountains. We were also charged $5 for a small bag of chips and a drink.
Strange course
The course was advertised as 9 holes valley and 9 holes mountain. Unfortunately the valley was very wet and cart path only. That didn't help me liking the course. The sand in the traps was so soft and deep you actually sank down while trying to hit out. It played really long. Extra club was needed on most holes. It wasn't in bad shape, just wet so the grass hadn't been cut in spots. Very penial at times. When you survived the valley, you encountered the mountain. BLIND shots everywhere. They did give information on the score card which helped. You just didn't know where to hit. I did like the uphill and downhill to holes when you put your ball in the proper location. Was happy when the round completed. Couldn't get a beer to celebrate that. Wouldn't play it again. Did have nice scenery and mountain views.
Bug's Galore
This course has a terrible problem with gnat's. The gnats were every where. We purchased a bug spray from the club house that was suppose to work but, I think it attracted the bugs. We used off spray given to us by the greens keeper and that did not work either. The gnats were in our face as we tried to hit tee shots, fairway shots and while trying to putt. This took place during the entire round. The course layout from the blue tees appears to be and after thought. Tree limbs and shrubs were in the flight path of the tee shots. I don't recommend this course to anyone.
Bent Creek
Enjoyed the play. Course is well maintained. Has lots of water. The 14th hole is a par 3 that you have to walk up 40 steps to get to the tee and then hit down to the green. The fairways are fairly wide, but some holes are a little hard to figure out. The scorecard is quite helpful.
Worth the drive
Absolutely beautiful setting - challenging rough and true greens - Creek runs through most of the holes - unexpected back nine - Gnats were not as bad as previously reported.
This course is a great challenge
Greatly improved fairways and greens from conditions a year earlier. New ownership is obviously wanting to keep this course enjoyable to play.
Very challenging, and a lot of fun!
Course recently reopened, and it has been years since I played it. Staff was very friendly, and helpful. Course was in very good shape, guys were working on it while I played. It's going to be the top course in the area before long. I'll definitely be back k was hbtime I'm up here.

Expected more from the advertisement
Just an average course with no extras. No driving range. Pretty views throughout the course
Wide variety of shots required
Greens were in great shape.
Fairways were in good shape, especially considering the deluge received a couple of days before.
Opportunity to use all your clubs and shot selections.
Staff very friendly.
Great value.
Will definitely play again when in area.
Great features , smooth play
Good course to play. Greens and fairways appeared well cared for. Enjoyed the round. Bugs are a nuisance, take spray but other than that it’s a very nice course to enjoy a round.
