Best around
On vacation decided on Playing bent creek with my 2 boys they loved the coarse the back 9 was a experience all around awesome experience
Golf Now
First thing was the check in process and the excuses. You booked through Golf Now so you need to get them to fix the gift card issue. Excuses for any Golf Now booked tee time. Not our problem! I had 2 $20.00 gift cards I entered on-line but the course would not honor them. The full rate of $76.00 was charged plus an extra $20.00 for my wife to ride. I paid $96.00 for a round when it was worth maybe $50.00! The front 9 was pretty fair and relatively flat and fair. The back 9 was tougher with blind holes and gimmicks to make it tough to hit a spot. Golf mats were used for one tee-off area. Greens were aerated over a month ago but still bumpy. Could have been a much better experience.
Mountain Golf
Bent Creek is your typical mountain golf course. The front nine is basically lowlands almost links style with side-by-side fairways and some short par 4s. The back nine is more mountain style golf with elevation and moderate dog legs. This is not a course for the long hitters off the tee as you really need to shape your shots and select your targets carefully to avoid the hazards. There is water (pond and creek) on the front and back nine. Some holes on the front nine are deceiving as you can't see the fairway from the tee box.
The greens were recently punched and sanded so you can't get a true roll on the greens. The group I was with settled on a two-putt maximum due to the condition of the greens. The greens should be nice in a month or so. Fairways haven't come in yet due to March weather. Bent Creek is a good play if you are staying in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge for the week. I enjoyed it.

Depending on the time of year
Would be a beautiful and challenging course during peak season. Played in March and greens were punched and sanded which made them almost unplayable, tee boxes were basically just mud on some holes. Would love to give it another shot during peak season. Overpriced for March golf and the conditions you get. Lovely staff!!
Back 9 very challenging. Greens were in bad shape, fun course but not worth the $60+ fee
Pat&Jackie return
Great to be back at our long-time favorite course. Good to know that Colin and crew are still keeping Bent Creek in great shape—so much fun to play!
Thanks for your friendly hospitality also!

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE
complete waste of time and money they dont have a range or anyone checking on pace of play took us 2 hours and 25 minutes to play 9 holes and then wait on the 10th tee box behind a 8 cart group that wouldnt allow anyone to play through ,crabgrass on every green, roughs are like some cheap yard grass that isnt maintained at the 2 women in the pro shop just poor attitudes shouldnt be involved in this shop youd be better off saving your money and buying a round of putt putt than play here
The worse course in Tennessee
Over priced overbooked no ranger to check pace of play just absolute garbage uneven cut roughs and fairways tons of gravel rocks in bunkers staff was rude and no help to pace of play, greens are patchy crab grass on ever green lonnnggg and slooooowwwww it’s honestly just a pathetic “golf course” wouldn’t recommend to anyone
Do not play
This course is so packed and horribly maintained. They have no rangers to control pace of play. There was an 8 man tee time in front of us that refused to let anyone play through, the pro staff wouldn’t send anyone out to speed them up. Even though tee times are 9 minutes apart we waited at least 10 minutes per tee box. Took 2 hours to play 7 holes. We left at the 8th tee box after waiting almost 20 minutes. Unless you like to wait or drive into people do not play here. It is not worth the money. On top of everything pro staff was rude and there is no range anywhere other than some poorly maintained putting green
Nice layout, tiny slow greens
Cool little layout and a short course. Greens were in poor shape and rolled like putting on the fringe. Ruined the enjoyment of the round when you can’t make a putt.
Tourist Trap
Great people running the show. Not a $70 course. Enjoyed the members I was fortunate to meet and play with.
Fun and challenging course.
The course is layed out well with great views of the rolling hills and a good amount of water (creek and ponds). Front nine was easier than the back. The back is in more in the mountains and has multiple blind shots. Lots of fun. Highly recommend. No driving range, just putting green. I would say a cart is a must, especially on the back 9.
