Things to improve
Pretty good place to play. Shocked when we got there and found out it was cart path only. We should have been alerted to that in advance.
Also no towels in carts. The course was very swampy in places and a towel would have been nice
Course was in great shape and we loved the layout! Staff were helpful.
Great Course
Fun layout, great conditions. Not the cheapest but worth the money.
Beautiful
Gorgeous course, we’ll maintained. Counter staff was not great but the cart guy was wonderful!
I will be back
Outstanding golf course. Challenging yet not frustrating.
A Gem in Middle Tennessee
This is by far one of the best courses in Middle TN!! It is well maintained and the staff are super nice and very helpful!! I enjoyed every moment of my 18-hole round!! If you’re visiting from out of town or a local that hasn’t played it before, it definitely needs to be checked off your TN golf course bucket list!!
Really Wet
No fault of the course that there was 24 hours of rain prior to our playing. So it was really soggy, but with that as an obstacle, the course was a lot of fun and is very playable. Would love to play it again in dry conditions.
Not Worth the Greens Fee
2hr40 min front nine. Starter sent us off 15 minutes late due to late send off and chatting with group ahead. Pace of play was worse I’ve ever experience. Played front 9 twice instead of dealing with the crawl. Course is in ok condition - not as crisp as a month ago. Greens are soft which left a lot of bumps and digs from previous shots. Staff in club house was very snooty and acted like they were managing August National.
Overall a less than stellar experience.
Rain
Be forewarned this course expects you to play in the rain. We had to drive two hours in the pouring rain, to not be charged a no show fee.
Don’t play on weekends
If there is a hot deal on the weekend DO NOT BOOK. It is usually part of an outing and you will be in a shotgun start. This was not communicated before hand. If a weekend deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
Great, as always
Undoubtedly one of the nicest Public tracks in Nashville. Greens are always firm, fast, clean and true. Pace is always pretty good, the course is never truly backed up. Always worth the time and money.
Rolling Gem
Course is in incredible condition! Greens are receptive to good iron shots but roll pure and quick! Course is not incredibly long from the Gold tees(5-10hcp) but not very many flat lies out there! Water and sand play a part on many holes so a precisely planned and executed tee shot are essential!!
Nice track
Even though we had carts, it was cart path only.so a lot of walking!
