Approach to the par-5 14th hole Photo submitted by ShragMagtite on 09/30/2019
Little Gem
Great course with five sets of tees to test all golfers. I played from the gold tees, and that put all par 3's at 135-160 yards. Yardage can be tricky as there are a lot of hills to traverse. Most par 3's are 'carry' yardage. So club accordingly. Not much water, but it's there to be found. Bunkers are nice white sand. Beware. that this is a resort/retirement area, and you may just get caught behind a league, which will stretch a normally 4 hour round to 5 hours.
wonderfully manicured
Tansi is often overlooked by golfers coming to Crossville ...."the golf capital of TN"......Most play the fairfield glade courses and the Nicklaus course, Bear Trace.....but Lake Tansi is on par with these and perhaps better. Greens and fairways are superbly manicured..large fast greens...closely mown fairways and thick rough make for a challenging round. Play the course at approx 5800yds...6200yds...or 6700yds you'll have a great time for much less $ than the Glade courses
Trmendous value
Booked on golf Now for a great price. Course was in fabulous condition. 5 sets of tees for all skill levels. Quick ,challenging greens with multiple levels and undulations. Will come back again and again when visiting central Tenn
well manicured course
Very nice course for the money. The fairways and greens were excellent. The rough was tough to hit out of but its supposed to be.
Nice surprise!
Didn't know what to expect, but the reviews were good. Very close to Fairfield Glade, and the price through Golf Now was fantastic as a 'hot deal'. went back the next day!
Beautiful golf course
Well manicured golf course. Thin fairways but never lost a ball. Love this course favorite one I played so far.
Great Value
Excellent value for the price - the course is in great condition
Great Afternoon
The course was in great condition. Fairways were green which is good for this time of year. All the fall leaves were removed from the course.
Wow! Great course and in great November shape.
Visiting from Ontario, Canada and was very impressed with the condition and layout.
Great Value
The course is in great condition for this time of year. Greens a bit slow.
great layout
Well maintained course for that fall getaway golf experience from the upper midwest.
this course very wet
i enjoyed playing this course. very green grass, preaty trees
Emerald green beauty! Deceptively difficult without A game.
Played this course every day for a week-long stay in Lake Tansi.
Most of the fairways are average in width and lengths are reachable from the correct tee box with a good shot. Beware the
roughs. They are filled with "sticky" grass and late weekend and early in the week were long. Deep rough was like US Open.
Last 4 holes are sneaky tough. Pace of play was the only negative. Course was busy most of the day and there was a
4-day tournament in front of us during the week days.
Great course always well maintained.
Enjoyed the play. Beautiful day and course was in great shape.
Solid round of golf
One of my favorite courses - always in excellent shape with great pace of play
It makes you think, with greens placements.
I've played it for the last 10 yrs. It is in the best shape that I have seen in the 10 yrs. I try to stay away on women's club days, they really must play for a lot of prize money.
Nice course.
The greens had been aerated recently, so they still had some dimples and sand. They still putted well, nevertheless, and fast. The fairways and the tee boxes were in very good condition. There were a number of challeging holes, and the layout was good.
Short but very sloped greens
Pace of play was good. Conditions were good. Enjoyed the whole day.
The course was in great shape, since they just aerified 1 1/2 weeks ago.
We got a great deal from Golfnow, and really enjoyed a good round of golf, followed by a great diner in the club house afterwards. The pace of play backed up on the 12th hole, but the mountain weather made it bearable.
Nice course
I liked It so much I bought a Condo on hole #3 tee box.....
