Cattails cost
Was a pretty good course until the price went through the roof. They are now $48 which very high for this area. That is the reason we will not be back.To many courses as good for a better price.
Great
Course and staff are always great. Very consistent experience over the years.
Good layout
Course was in good condition, enjoyed the layout with short and long holes and good use of water features.
Don’t
So Im going to be as fair as I can be here because the condition of the course was awful due to all the rain the last 3 days. It was cart path only. But there’s really no excuse for the atrocious pace of play. When we pulled up we saw a party of 7 teeing off which probably should have been an indicator of what was to come. We went behind a threesome who Were hitting an average of 5 times out of the fairways. The greens were about the only decent thing and we’re pretty true all day despite at least 3 with serious damage spots. I’m sure this course is better than what we experienced but we definitely won’t be back.
Great Coarse
The coarse was great. All the amenities were great and convenient. I would recommend this coarse to anyone.
Wait until late spring or summer
We’ve played this course several times and it can be a lovely course. However, at this time, because of the rains and dead grass in the fairways, it’s in horrible condition. I would highly recommend any course in this condition offer substantial discounts. If it was our first time, we would never go back.
Tale of Two Courses
Course was interesting and enjoyable. Unfortunately they had aeriated their bentgrass greeds the week before so the greens didn't putt very true. I was also very surprised to see the large number of ball marks on the greens that had not been repaired.
Front 9 holes were virtually flat but still interesting. The back 9 was substantially more hilly and interesting. Three hole (11,12,13) were called the "Cat Trap!" Very enjoyable!
I was playing the yellow tess and the course was very easy in my opinion. Next time I'll drop back to the white tees.
I hope to try this in a few months when the greens should be at their prime!
Fun, challenging layout
The course had a lot of unique holes due to hazards, woods, and elevation. The course drained very well, as it was quite wet and actually rained for the first two holes, but the course played beautiful. Very fair and gettable for strong players but generally forgiving for less experienced players. The two nines are very different, with the front feeling almost links style at times and the back going up to one of the highest points in town. Definitely check this course out!
