Greens
While I really enjoy this course as a whole, at this price point the greens shouldn't be as spotty as they are. Lots of bare spots on the edges that just shouldn't be for a course like this.
Good solid course
Front 9 definitely plays easier. Me and a buddy walked this course and the Front 9 also plays easier as well is easier to walk. Course was still in good conditions given it was December. Greens were a little tough to get speed down on but that also could have just been a personal problem. Very nice views of the creeks and surrounding mountains. Would come Back and play again
Great shape
The course is in great shape.I highly recommend this course friendly staff and good amenities.
Beautiful course, low hazards, rude staff
I’m a fairly seasoned golfer, I have been playing since I was 12. A friend of mine is visiting and wanted to golf. This was his first time ever stepping onto a course. He doesn’t have clubs, so he used mine. The grounds keeper immediately gave us a hard time about having 1 set of clubs, urging us to play as fast as we could in order to make it easier for everyone else. We were playing at an average pace and by hole 3, the same grounds keeper came and said (exact quote) “you guys are gonna have to pick up the pace. You either need to speed up or let someone play through, but at this rate, you’ll probably have to let people play through every shot. I don’t know what else to do about this”...every shot??? It was very rude. We had to skip a hole and my friend who has never played before and was actually doing better than most for his experience basically picked up his ball after every tee shot for the remainder of the front 9. Extremely disappointed in the way he approached us about the issue. It’s a beautiful course, but I won’t go back. I’ve never heard someone tell me something like that.
Cattails
Senior playing from gold tees. Front nine easier than back nine. Have to keep ball in fairway or first cut of rough or you have a lost ball. Good layout creek and ponds coming into play on multiple holes.
A waste of time and money
This course disappointed me on all most every level. On previous reviews they had a driving range but that wasn't the point. The greens had been punched recently which isn't a problem if told about. The "greens" had a lot of damage, tons of bare spots, divots everywhere, even on the practice greens had divots. The course layout was nice and challenging, the carts was electric and had charger ports on them. This is a resort golf course and for $45 I expected more than what was presented. It has a lot of potential but needs months of work done. Maybe next year will be better, but I doubt i try it again. I tried to upload a picture and video of greens but was unable to.
