Dallas Ft. Worth Marriott Hotel and Golf Club at Champions Circle

New course reconstruction terribly planned. Should have used driving range area. Club needs to notify Garmin and golfshot of course changes. Walking from 16th to 17th takes unusual detour. At completion of 18th requires walking back towards 17th tee.

I have played this course numerous times over the years. There is a lot of construction going on around the course which should be finished in the next few months. I would wait until all of the construction is completed before I play it again. It will be really nice with a new club house and the holes are changed to meet the new surroundings they will have.

The weather was perfect, the staff friendly and helpful. Hot dogs were being cooked fresh on a grill by the chipping practice (they were delicious!) Beer specials.

The course was in great shape. Greens were fast. Looking forward to playing again at Championship Circle

they changed the layout of the course recently by adding two par 3 back to back and elimiting the old holes #2&#3. The new #18 hole used to be the old#1 hole. Many by mistake start at 18 instead of hole#1. I hope they do better job once they finished with final design.

While the course is under a little construction it is still a great place to play. Great location off I-35W and 114 so plenty of places to grab a drink and food before or after the round. Marriott has recently purchased the course and has great things to come. Definable recommend this place, you wont be disappointed.

This review is submitted within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.. I bought 3 Hot Deals for roughly $30 each which is a great bargain for this track. Unfortunately, the other 2/3 of my threesome bailed on me and I never met up with the other single I was to be paired up with @ 12:30. This actually was a blessing. It was like I had the whole place to myself for the front nine. Then, other singles started to bunch up. This is where it got bizarre. A number of us going off individually (under the Social Distancing guidelines). It really slowed things down. But, with only a few holes remaining it was manageable. The course was in very good shape and the makeshift outdoor bar was convenient. Weather was great and everyone was respectful in keeping an appropriate distances. Many thanks to the staff and Mgmt. for remaining open during this tough time. Getting outside in the fresh air and sunshine is just what was needed for those of us under the current "shelter in place" directive. Hope to return soon. For $30 it was a steal. .

A lot of rain kept the place cart part only. Made for a slow day. Oh well. Beat sitting in the house. Played next day here and it’s100% better. Now let’s get those greens faster.

From the recent rain the grass was pretty overgrown, they started mowing in the middle of the day which would have been nice to do beforehand. Greens were pretty good, shame that the range was closed since there was water pooled up

Best tee boxes around and the greens are pretty quick but true. Everything else is ok to good. From the tips is a good challenge and they have some interesting holes. Will definitely be back!

Completely ridiculous. Showed up for my 12:10 tee time to a line 10 guys deep trying to check in. Come to find out, they did not have enough slots for players and implemented a scramble. Total incompetence. What a waste of my time.

Went on-line to secure a tee-time. Golf course uses a third party site - Golfnow to lock in a tee time. Got to the course and found out that I did not have a tee time because they no longer use Golfnow although they are still linked with the site. Golf staff was terrific as they were able to get me out with a threesome and I paid my golf fee which including club rental. Not sure if I would have been able to golf had there not been a spot open. However I found out several days later that was charged by Golfnow for the reservation too. I called clubhouse who provided me a number to Golfnow with a recording that said they have a high amount of calls. One day was an estimated three hour wait to talk to someone. Next time I called, it was a two hour wait. 15 minutes later, the Golfnow office closed at 5:00. Not sure why a golf course would be linked to a site that they do not use.

Considering all the recent rain the course was in very good shape. Given the shape of the course and the price to play it was a great value overall. Course is interesting, some holes are very challenging and long, others narrow but most holes if you can control direction are fair and give you a chance to score well. Good course

The overall condition of the course was pretty good despite winter conditions. The carts are good. Greens and traps good too. I started playing this track about 25 years ago when it was called Creeks of Beachwood, a Greg Norman design. It was awesome then. There has been a lot of changes over the years to make it easier which is making it worse not better. Norman would be very disappointed.

I had a good time playing yesterday, but the fairways were still wet from the rain showers earlier in the week.

So I show up early to be told the range is currently closed but they have an area to put and chip per the marshal sign on his golf cart. Well during that time several other came up to the clubhouse to obtain what,? Range balls. So when addressing it with the teenager who was staffing the desk basically got a ,”well some just do what they want “. Then the marshal stars my twosome early just to start a single to ride our behinds from the start. Then too make things better a new system to book was just put into place and the afternoon round were double booked. So trying to play in between 4 different 5somes was a joy. Groups leaving tees to mark the best shot on the greens and then being yelled at not to move it. Not sure if locals took over the course for the day but I sure felt I was invading their backyard and paid 30 bucks to do so.

They sold some land and just crammed some holes in to keep it a course. You have to drive through the Marriot parking lot and jump a curb to play the last 2 holes. It’s a joke of a layout.
