Not Friendly Staff, Well Designed Course
Upon arrival staff barely greeted me and my daughter. It was my first time at the course in 7 years and I didn’t remember where anything was, cart, driving range, etc. I have to find my own way to the assigned cart then ask someone else where the driving range was. Not a huge deal just not helpful in the least. Separately, be fair warned I was required to pay a $16 rider fee for my 10 year old daughter to simply ride in the cart with me.
Course lay out is generally fun but anywhere off the fairway is not much more than hardpan.
Champion course
This is a very nice course.
Course well maintained. Bev girl came around frequently which was nice. Great transfusion.
Price was high on a Saturday but weekdays under $60.
Compressed
Short and compressed. 2 holes should have been one stroke less
Fairways were very dry but greens were in good shape
Saw drink cart only 2 times. It’s hot so very important
Challenging
Great course, staff. You have to play this course in spots. The right spots to give you a scoring chance
Great course in need of some infrastructure
Played this course on a bright summer day. The problem is, a good portion of the tee boxes do not include a shaded area to stand in. I would recommend planting some trees or placing some canopies.
Outside of the Texas heat, staff was friendly and available. Would probably be a good winter course.
