In the historic Texas golf city of Fort Worth is the Dallas-Fort Worth Marriott Hotel & Golf Club at Champions Circle. This 10-floor property has 272 guest rooms and suites and features 16 meeting rooms with over 37,000 total square feet. There are three dining concepts as well as a breakfast buffet. It is located near the Texas Motor Speedway and 23 miles from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. The Golf Club at Champions Circle is located a short drive away and offers stay-and-play packages for visiting golfers. The club features 18 holes stretching to 6,487 yards from the black tees and plays as a par 71. The facility also has a short game area, rental clubs and a driving range.Facts

Harder than I remember
Wonderful afternoon for golf. The last time I played this course (1-2 years ago), the rough, fairways, and greens were in poor condition. Fast forward to last weekend and all three are excellent. The rough is grown in enough to actually penalize you if you veer of target; and at this course those targets are sometimes small. The greens were rolling true at a decent pace. Course (from the 2nd tees) is rather short, but that is offset by the tight fairways and undulating greens.
Great Course Great Price
Fun but challenging a little of everything target golf in some hole just turn it loose on others. Would definitely play again.
Waiting Time
I have tried to play the course three weeks in a row. It's close to my house. However, they over book and have too many people playing the course. It took me 2:40 minutes to play the front 9. I finally quit after 15 because they had groups of five and six playing together. Waiting forever to play. The big groups wouldn't even let you play through
Greens
Fix the greens! Define the fairways.

Excellent course.
Excellent fairways, greens, tee box. However, the dreaded fairway bunkers and some green side traps need attention.
Blind spots, club selection critical. I will play again next week. Best hot deal I have found so far.

Very difficult course if you cannot hit it straight
Nice conditioned course. Very difficult and tight, need to bring your A game! #1 complaint is it is difficult to know where to hit it, lots of blind and semi blind tee shots and then very tight on top of it. Like the greens and conditions. Need to cut more brush down and open up landing areas.
#2 complaint, sent me out by myself, then came up on a group of three, behind a group of 5. Waited every shot 5 minutes or so, then on 7 the group of 5 let the group of 3 through and thought maybe they would let us through at the turn. No luck played another 3 holes waiting and then had to skip a whole to get by them. Needed a marshal.
Other than the difficulty and getting stuck behind a group of 5, I really enjoyed the course.

Pleasently Suprised
The tee boxes, fairways, and greens are in the best shape I have seen for this course. Played 18 holes in less than 3 hours and was a definite change from previous experiences at this golf course. Note: Bunkers could have been better otherwise this course
would have received an excellent rating!!

Great value
Interesting layout in good condition.
18 holes in 3 hours 15 minutes
One or two bunkers in terrible shape but they were actively being fixed (saw a backhoe in the bunker working on it).
Greens in good shape medium speed.

Hot Day at Champions
Course was in good shape even though we are in our 100 degree days in Texas. Fairways are starting to dry out. Ball roll out so adjust your club selection. Greens are good with no dry spots. Kudos to the greens keeper. Pro shop staff is always friendly and accommodating. If you can take the heat book on Golfnow for a great rate. You can play 18 in 3 hours. Good luck!!

Disappointed
Very sporadic layout. Several blind holes leaving you with a great deal of uncertainty of where to play a shot. Can't even decifer where the fairway is from the tee box. Looks like they tried to build an 18 hole course on too small plot of land. Won't be back.

This course has too many grunge areas
Missing the fairway and playing from the rough is a fundamental challenge of golf. But, having said that, this course has too many 1 to 2 ft high grunge areas that are immediately off the fairways. Minimally off line shots end up with lost golf balls, especially for the first 5 holes of the course. Will not be going back there for a long, long time.
Good Crouse But
I have played here quite often and its a great course but I did play on a Monday morning which I do not advise the workers are all over the course and will disrupt your game will not play early out there again.
