Interactive touchscreen -- distances to front/back of hazards, greens, etc. Touch a spot to get other specific distances. NICE! Photo submitted by GordonATX on 11/05/2013

Will travel back across country to play again
Event in the spring season before everything looks perfect this was a very fun course to play. Pace of play was great, GPS on carts, very accurate. Challenging and fun. First 12 holes are hilly and canyon like. 13 - 18 are riverbed and wide open. Can't wait for the next opportunity to come back and play again.
Nice Layout, Challenging, and as golf is meant to be played!
Nice layout, one of the better course designs in the area. Driving range is in great shape with good range balls. Staff is friendly and course is well laid out. No homes anywhere on the course makes it a golfing haven. Pace of play was great. All in all, a good round.
Tough track and not in the best condition (but it's early spring)
Not a very fair course even if you're on your game. Few greens have a flat surface. Pins almost always on a slope.
Every tee shot has to be placed or you find yourself in trouble. If you don't know the course, I recommend playing with a member. (Or bring a dozen balls). I played with a member lol.
This is a resort property so I expected the facility to be first rate. Ball washers were dry. Yeah, it's a little thing, but the little things matter.when you're paying top dollar.
One of the better courses in Austin
Of all the courses I have recently played in Austin Texas area, this is one of the best ones. The layout, though difficult is fair. The Front Nine is absolutely stunning but the back nine is a little hokey. Greens were in good shape, but some greens were a bit beat up. Pace of play was excellent, driving range is in good condition as are the range balls. Staff was friendly and enjoyable round.
Nice course
Friendly staff, nice course layout but it could be in better shape for the price.
Great day for golf
everything was great on the course, fairways are great, greens were perfect. very enjoyable round. top notch course.
Bday round
Did I mention the staff was excellent. Matt in the proshop is a real professional! Really took care of our family trip. The course, the greens, a little crowded post tourny but it’s just amazing. Get down there asap for a round you won’t forget.
Need Marshall on Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
Friday my Son and I played at Wolfdancer. We waited on every hole. We caught up to the 2somes in front of us and we joined them to form a 4somes and even that when we approached the hole #10 we were the 3rd group of 4somes waiting. I find this to be a bit frustrating that the number 10 hole was so backup like it did. My tee times was 1:30pm. I love the course but not the pace of play.
Incredible day !!
No dissapointment here. Was recommended and exceeded expectations in everyway. Only critique was the shortage of range balls. Don't hesitate. Get Wolfdancer on your list.
Course is still great, but their service declined. They used to meet you at your car with a cart, the restaurant bar by the pro shop is closed, so you have to walk to the other one by the sleepy river, no beverage cart. The sand traps are really dirt traps…most had very little sand. The sand traps need work, but overall great course. With the decline in service (probably Covid and staffing issues), the very poor bunkers, course is overpriced. In the past 2 years, went from a $130 course to no more then $70.
Wonderful Condition
Had a wonderful time at Wolfdancer. Greens were in magnificent shape, especially for January. Was lucky to be paired with a member that helped me navigate some of the tougher holes.
Had a great time playing Wolfdancer for the first time, and will hopefully play again. Course was in great condition for January. Challenging layout, so think about moving up a tee. Course forces you to play every club in your bag and penalizes you for missing greens in the wrong spot. Greens are very challenging as well. It was a little cold the day I played so course was pretty open. Played in about 3:45. Might be over priced if your paying full value, but if you can catch a good hot deal it’s worth it.
Really Nice Course
Had a great time at Wolfdancer! Course was in amazing condition, and the staff in the pro shop was incredible. Can’t wait to get back!
Fun course, but super dry
Glad I was able to take advantage of a hot deal, because I’m not sure when this course is top shape it’s worth the $150+ that is the normal tee times.
With that being said, the layout is challenging at times and the two groups I played with were friendly. The only real disappointment was the beverage cart never showed up once (even though we were told she was out and about) over the full 18 and play slowed to two groups waiting on the tee box on 16-18.
Favorite Course in Austin
A bit pricey, but this is my favorite course in the Austin area that doesn't require a club membership. Almost every hole has a unique and memorable lay out that challenges your thinking and have always found it to be in good condition.
Great Resort Course, but $$$$
I enjoyed the course, excellent conditions for mid December. Not too crowded and able to play through a 5-some group. (not a fan of that many, but at least they let us play through)
Usually play white tees, but the green tee boxes were more than enough length for my typical 200 - 210 yard drives. Has a few 240 with the wind, but under 200 against it.
The course is expensive, even with some of the Golf Now discounts, but I was happy to take the trip down from Hutto to play.
