Interactive touchscreen -- distances to front/back of hazards, greens, etc. Touch a spot to get other specific distances. NICE! Photo submitted by GordonATX on 11/05/2013

Looking out on #2 Fairway Photo submitted by walt02554 on 08/25/2013
Great course
One of the best public tracks in/near Austin and it moves pretty well
Worth the money
Did Not Meet Expectations
The course has great potential, but right now it's not in great shape. Tee boxes, especially the boxes on the back 9, are horrible. They're basically dirt and weeds. Greens are ok. Not awesome but not awful. Very slow and bumpy. Fairways are nice. No complaints about the fairways. All of staff at the course were very friendly. We teed off at 8:30 am and it was very hot & humid. We didn't see the beverage cart until hole # 16. After the round, we planned to grab a drink at the bar, but the bar was closed. One of the guys I played with said he had played the course a few years ago and it was great. He couldn't believe the dramatic difference between then and now. I would not recommend this course based on its current condition.
Am torn
We played 2 days in a row. Course has some beautiful, scenic views. Greens recently aerated so not true
rolling. Bunkers were not touched first day after rains but were groomed by 2 nd day. Not fluffy sand. Tee boxes , really bad. Very few had consistent grass.
Here is my problem….green fees approx $140-147. At that price, coolers on carts should be loaded with ice and bottled water. They were empty until I asked for help. I had to ask for some type of towel. There were no tees in the cart or with starter. EVERYBODY was polite and helpful but I have played $45 tracks that offered better service. I am patient but constantly hearing that COVID has impacted everyone, is beginning to wear thin.
I would play course again but would wait until fall.
Best experience
From the parking lot to the pro shop, driving range, then the starter.. everyone I encountered from members to staff were so friendly. The course was amazing and didn't play so bad, shot an 86
Hot deal
Very expensive course but the hot deal made it affordable
Wolfdancer Golf
Greens are in excellent shape as are the fairways. The tee boxes are a little rough. Rough is very unfriendly.
Incredible day
Absolutely one of the best golf experiences I have ever had. Staff and other members were so nice and helpful along the way. Beautiful course and in great condition. Definitely worth every penny. I'll be sure to make it back this fall. GREAT JOB Wolfdancer Golf!!
Best Public/private in central texas
Great course. Essentially, you're playing country club/private member's course. Now, they do allow 5-somes which irritated me as I play single or doubles, and it is usually pretty crowded. I couldn't skip ahead, so it gets a knock for that. Additionally, they haven't opened the grill/clubhouse yet and have no cart girl. I get it, it's still Covid. However, I have played other courses (falconhead, shadowglen) that are allowing cart girls and grill to be open. Another knock.
The course is pretty immaculate. Every course is still getting over the freeze, but the greens are great (fast/challenging). It's a great course, and it is really taken care of. The staff are incredibly warm and helpful. It is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Hence, the 2 knocks above for what I just mentioned. Honestly, they should be charging $100 right now with the lack of amenities.
Amazing layout!
Course in great shape. Friendly staff. We were surprised how open it was even though it is carved out in a hilly area. Challenging and fun track!
Great place to play
From entering the parking lot to loading my clubs to leave my Wolfdancer Golf experience was great. We were cordially greeted by an employee who gave us a lay out of facility and made us feel really welcomed. I booked as a single with my wife as a rider. We arrived 90 minutes before my tee time. The starter slotted me in 45 minutes ahead of time. I paired up with a twosome and enjoyed a pleasant round. The course was in excellent condition, the layout is uniquely challenging and ruggedly beautiful.
Really nice people, beautiful golf course made for a fun round of golf.
Beautiful course
Beautiful course, but I do not recommend who has 20+ handicap. It is tough course. Too expense to play there. Once is enough for me. Thank you.
Always a great choice
I played here 2 years ago, and couldn't wait to return. The course is terrific, very challenging but very fair. You will use every club in your bag, and bogeys are waiting at almost every turn. It's a big course, with lots of choices for every golfer to make. Greens and fairways were very good for this time of year. Bunkers needed some TLC, but all in all, I had a great time and will return again.
Best around
Wolfdancer is in great shape. Fairways nice; greens are exactly as you’d expect for a well-kept resort course and nice and true. Pace was a bit slow but as expected for the weekend afternoon. Plus, with the gorgeous scenery and landscapes, we didn’t mind pausing and taking it in as we waited here and there. Beautiful wildlife. Dramatic and well designed holes. Tons of fun. Highly recommend.
Layout and condition
Great course layout, especially ially the back nine. Fairways and greens is great condition. Sand in bunkers was rocky. Would have e pectex soft sand and powder consistency at a resort course. Driving range facilities were just okay.
