Interactive touchscreen -- distances to front/back of hazards, greens, etc. Touch a spot to get other specific distances. NICE! Photo submitted by GordonATX on 11/05/2013

Best golf experience I've had yet!!
First of all I want to think golf now for existing because I was able to play this course for 25$ when it normally cost's around 100$. As for the course, this was a complete private course experience. The golf pro sent me out early so I wouldn't have to play with the random guys. I felt like I was on my own golf course, and it happen to be the nicest course I've ever played.
Staff was super nice dot me. The experience was a 10 out of 10.
Golf course in great condition.
Great conditions even though it rained hard the day before and it was cart path only the day we played. Great layout and can be challenging from any set of tees depending on the golfer. Great views of the hill country from the higher elevations. Well worth the trip to the course from Austin.
Nice setting, terrible design
All that is missing is a Clown's Face on a couple holes.
Challenge from the tips!
Golfnow did not have the Aeration special up and last time I played they had aerated the day before, was very disappointed. Course is very challenging from back tees, has high rough. Course conditions could be better (played other times and greens are not worth the normal price.) Usually empty in afternoon can play round quickly. GPS is nice feature.
be very aware of the ball!
watch the ball until it stops and have it marked somehow so when you arrive at the spot you dont waste time searching for it......many blind shots..............the roughs is rough and the grass many times covers the ball....................the gps is generally helpful yet not always exact....................i had a great time in retrospective , one of my hishest scores ever though due to multipule penalties due to previouslly noted hazards
Austin Treat
Playing Wolfdancer is always a treat. It is a fun course that is very challenging, especially from the TIPS. A little local course knowledge helps, but the staff usually lets you know that before the round begins... LISTEN! Be sure that the greens have not been recently aerated though... as it really detracts from the true quality and challenge of the course.
Plush Challenging greens
Nocona Hills is a pleasant and scenic course with excellent, challenging greens (18th needs some work). I would recommend weekend golfers sign up before members start or give their last group a good hour head start.
One of the best in Texas
Immaculate course...great staff....played it twice for under $100 total thanks to golf now! Love this course!
Pro shop needs happy customer attitude not blame
Play was slow and we called marshall to speed up play. Fivesome two groups ahead . The foursome ahead of us also called in. The representative from the proshop blamed us for playing too fast. I asked if we could pass the slow group and he told me that was not possible because it would slow the play of the slowest FIVESOME on the course. Other than this mess the course is awesome. Tough putting.
All he had to say was sorry for the slow play, and I would have been OK. I run my own business have 25 employees and our customers come first no matter what the situation.
The WOLF
Inclement weather created some challenges with the wind and temperature drop.
The golf course is always tough, and makes you earn your keep by hitting quality shots. It does not pay to get over-aggressive, because in most cases it will cause added shots. It is usually best to Take Your Medicine, and try to stay on track. I played the round without losing any balls, and that was the high point of this round. My score was not too good, but it was due to my own error. Quality trip with good friends, and good memories were created.
