The signature 7th is a prime example: beautiful, offers a risky opportunity and a safe one as well. Photo submitted by u388669693 on 07/06/2019

Great morning at La Cantera
Great views, challenging course layout, and great conditions. In the middle of a probably one of the hottest summers that I remember the course was still in great condition. The sand was soft, fluffy, and playable, much different then some of the other courses in the area. Very well maitiained course. I would go again.
Greens in great shop. Pace of play monitored which is great.

Thank you for playing La Cantera. We hope you come back soon.
Great Shape
Course was in great condition. I thought it was a fun track and well maintained. Friendly staff and very cooperative.

Thank you for playing golf at La Cantera and providing your comments. We hope to see you again soon.
Course great, Staff not so much
Let me say I’ve played here a dozen times and I love the course. The problem is always the same, the staff needs to go to other courses of the same level and get a clue on what an enjoyable golf round should be. The pace of play is slow for an easy layout and always takes over 4 hours but when we have no one slowing us down we finish in 3 hrs 15 min. On this day we did not have ice in our cooler & were told to ask the cart girl; it was over 100 degree out. When we did see her she seemed annoyed and gave us a few cups. Not enough to fill our cooler. This course used to be a gem, now it’s just decent but overpriced for the experience.

Thank you for playing La Cantera recently. We apologize for the experience you received, and we will use this for training purposes. We hope you consider returning in the future.
Good course
This is a good course but for the money I think it would have been a little nicer. Some of the better resort style courses I have played in the past have a few little things that sets them apart from your regular courses like cold towels for you as you play. It really is the little things that set apart the better courses. Again this is a nice course and I do recommend it at least once!

Thank you for playing and thank you for your feedback. We will share your comments with the team, as we do offer an iced mango scented towel after the round in the summer months. We hope you come back again soon.

Thank you for playing. Come back and see us soon.
Punched Greens
The greens had just been punched and we had no notice of it on the app. Other than that it was good as usual

Thank you for the feedback. We will check with Golf Now on their application. All other channels through Golf Now have an alert built in for aerification to notify our guests. We hope you come back in the near future. Thank you for playing.
Great Course
La Cantera Resort has always been one of my favorite courses in San Antonio, always in great shape tee to green, the attention you get form the bag drop, the starter, the mid course snack bar, the club cleaning at the end of your round, everything is top notch, worth every penny.
Slow Slow Slow Greens and Pace
The greens are in really bad shape. Really slow. You have to really wack it to both up hill and down! Pace was also somewhat of a problem.
Kind of like a nice muni with average greens. I would be ok if it was around $50 USD. But not $160 for sure.
If the greens were fixed up I would say $100 is a fair price.
La Cantera
Amazing, just an overall wonderful experience, totally recommend.
Will be back very soon.

Thank you for playing and we hope you come back soon.
better grass at practice area
upon arrival the entire practice green area had a significant lack of turf to hit off of. having an attendant move the practice area back to new grass was needed. if your going to have guests practice off of the grass please make sure there is grass to hit off of.

Thank you for the feedback. We hope you will come back in the future.
Great course
The layout of the course is just beautiful. The greens were WAY TOO slow. It was a real struggle getting the ball to the hole and reading the greens. I wild love to still play the course again and hopefully the make the greens a little more fair with cutting three grass lower. The rest of the course and the staff were absolutely fantastic!
All in One Place
La Cantera is a venue that has it all. The course is excellent and a challenge for any golfer. The views are beautiful. The staff is first class, and the restaurants at the facility are four star.

Thank you for playing and we are glad you had a great time. Come back soon.
