About La Cantera Resort

Located just north of downtown San Antonio off the Highway 1604 loop is the La Cantera Resort, home to The Resort Course, designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf. It is a former host of the PGA Tour's Texas Open, featuring incredible elevation changes and sweeping views of San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country. La Cantera Resort features multiple dining areas and five pools. Just off property is Six Flags Fiesta Texas and The Shops at La Cantera. It is also near the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Amazing course with nice views

First time at thus course. Greens and fairways were very nicely kept. Greens were fast for sure. I enjoyed playing here. I wish they offer better twilight prices after 4pm during spring and summer time.

Amazing course for all levels

First time playing at this course. We had rain few days back and green were in perfect shape. Breath-taking views and well maintained greens. Greens were fast than other courses around SA.

Will definitely try to go there again when price is right.

Eagle at number 5

Course is in immaculate condition right now after the recent rain we’ve been getting. Always in great condition but even more superior right now. Get out here and play this track ASAP if you haven’t, worth every penny. Views are excellent as well.

Traveled to San Antonio to celebrate our anniversary. Played several other courses in the area that were comparable but less expensive. Would play again if it worked out but would start with some other courses first.
