The signature 7th is a prime example: beautiful, offers a risky opportunity and a safe one as well. Photo submitted by u388669693 on 07/06/2019

Always good
The Resort course is always a pleasure to play. It was raining/misting so the course was a little wet, but you could barely tell. It’s always in good condition. Much more playable than the Palmer course although both are excellent. Enjoy the roller coaster ride. Huge greens will help to shoot a few shots less than its brother/sister course.
Incredible course
Best course in San Antonio. Worth $120, got a Golfnow deal for $40.
Beautiful course, but very rushed
We had a group of four in front of us, a group of four behind us and we all tee’d off within 10 mins of each other. The group in front of us a little slower, and of course us a little slower too since we’re not professional golf players , we were playing at a normal regular joe golfer pace, even playing best ball so we don’t stay out there for four hours. The Marshall comes up and informs us we’re not playing fast enough , and at 125$ a Person, to rush our game and get us out of there like cattle was disrespectful and appalling , I’ve never been treated like that, the Marshall followed us and the group in front of us to the next four holes watching us. I’ve played almost every golf course in town and again, never been treated like that. I know for sure I won’t ever go back, and it’s a shame since it’s a nice course .
Fun course
This is a fun course to play with beautiful views. Challenging but fun. Will go back next time we are in San Antonio
Great Course
This course is fantastic . Find your deals on golf now. I would never pay the full price which is why we chose to do the two person membership deal. Even then, we still find occasional deals down 20+ cheaper than our membership.. I also take lessons here and I can’t say enough good things about it. Will return to play as much as i can.
Great Course
No complaints, everything was very well organized and nice.
They kick people off the course when sun still up
Just had the most unpleasant experience at a course I very much have enjoyed playing over the years. We were coming off 16 green and had plenty of time to finish the final 2 holes when out of nowhere Juan or Jose from the pro shop rolls up and says “the course is closed, go back and turn our carts in”.
First of all, I’ve been playing golf for over 25 years. Been on countless golf trips and have played thousands of rounds.
Not once. Not ever one time. Have I ever been kicked off a course with plenty of daylight to finish your round. Finish what you paid good money for.
Second, I was having a really good round and was excited to finish and have a full round in the books.
This guy was relentless. He blocked the cart path to the 17th tee and waited to escort me to the clubhouse.
Mind you, there are multiple groups behind me that he is neglecting to kick off the course. The ones that probably had no chance to finish. He’s not worried about them because his sole purpose now is to harass me.
So I ask him. What’s the big deal?? Plenty of daylight. What’s his problem?? He says the course closed at 530. I ask when on earth was that guideline shared when I booked my round. He said it’s in my booking. Nope.
Then I ask what he plans to do if I tee off. His response. I’ll call the cops to come take you away for trespassing.
God La Cantera. Y’all want to treat customers like that?? Good luck lasting in today’s society treating people that way.
