La Cantera Resort

As usual - I can find nothing to complain about at La Cantera. The people are always friendly and couteous, and the course is in great shape for the end of the winter. I know that I will play there again.

Green was in great condition and the fairway was in great shape. If you have not played must play

This is by far a top 5 course in San Antonio. Always enjoy this place.

Tee time with 3 at 1140A. Starter put a single with us who wanted to walk for the exercise. The first hole is 600 plus par 5 with a group in front of us. After the first hole the cart GPS indicated 7 minutes behind. Of course we are keeping up with the group in front. A single player came up behind us and we let him through on #3. We averaged 7 to 10 minutes behind the whole round when we were approached by marshal on #13 that we were stacking people up back on #8 who may not finish. The only groups we observed were two groups of two behind us. We tried to explain but marshal cut us off and advised to please pick up the pace. Lets just say the next 5 holes were not enjoyable. Finished at 405P which is under the 4 1/2 hour time they brag to keep rounds under. I won't be back here anytime soon on my dime.

Weather was gorgeous in mid January.

I'm a beginner golfer and was fortunate to play this course during a sponsorship tournament. The group I played with was excellent. Course is awesome and challenging. Hole 7 gives you a great view of Six Flags and has you approaching the green from a cliff high above. Worth the play. Just have fun.

This course is BEAUTIFUL!!! It's well maintained and in great shape! I LOVE the design of the course!

I love this course! Very challenging, there is not a flat spot on the course which makes shot placement a priority. Risk reward possibilities abound, always enjoy coming out here! Next stop Palmer course but I'll play here a few more times first!

I have a particular love for this course. The views are wonderful. Being a beginner this course is challenging, but is still ahoy to play.

This is a pristine course from the time you drop off your clubs to the time the assistants put your clubs in your car. Excellent practice facilities. Challenging course with beautiful elevation changes and true rolling greens. Great value for this course.

I had a great time playing this course for the first time. The greens put fast and are in excellent shape but can be tricky to read at times. The fairways were excellent and the layout was always changing. Even though it rained on us we still had a good time. I would like to play this course again on a dry day.

It was great to play on a course where the "big boys & big girls" play! The cost was incredible, as was the shape of the course. Can't wait to play again!

Fairways and greens were in perfect condition......greens rolled true with an ideal speed. Tee boxes had a little moisture to allow winterization grass to grow in, but still in great shape. Overall course conditions were excellent. Staff and beverage servers were all very friendly. Always fun playing this course when the opportunity comes up.

A must play in SA! Great course, challenging but fair. Great scenic views with the most elevation of any course in San Antonio. Always in perfect condition and helpful friendly staff.

Some challenging shots but not intimidating. Lovely views, especially of the amusement park adjacent. Great, first class staff. 4 hours and 1 minute to complet a Saturday round - not bad in this day and age. The wild turkeys all over the place are pretty cool.
