Lighthouse Country Club

Live in Austin but definitely worth the drive. Compared with Saturday play in Austin 4 hours 15 minutes is good. Course in great shape, greens fast but true.

This course is in the best shape ever!!! Like playing at a country club. I love the people here too.Only thing I miss is the restaurant. It was so so good.

Lighthouse is a fun course that has good bones. Fairway conditions were above average and the greens were excellent. Each hole is unique making for an enjoyable experience. In particular, #6 plays through granite outcroppings making it among the prettiest holes in the Hill Country. I recommend playing here and will return myself.

I have been playing course for 41 years. After the course redesign a few years ago it went from being an OK course to a glorious course. Concrete or asphalt Cart paths would be nice but not necessary with granite soil. I got a kick out of the person that gave it a one star rating because of lack of amenities although he said it was a great course. I guess if they change the name to lighthouse golf course instead of country club he would rate it five stars. We have to drive 81 miles to play the course so we don’t get to play it as often as we would like. If he is however well worth the drive.

The course was was in excellent condition. All the fairways , tee boxes and greens were in excellent shape. Only when you slice or hook to you get into some dry conditions but still I was able to play out of due to there bey so little grass ( or weeds) just off the fairway. For the money this is a really good course. The views are really nice too.

While summer takes its toll on most muni courses in TX, lighthouse was in very good shape. The greens actually left ball marks! Fun tract but be ready for some twists!!!

This is a fun track. Playing from the tips isn’t very far but the course plays difficult. The greens are extremely quick and are challenging. As a golfer trying to get better, I appreciated the difficulty of the course. Friendly staff and a very nice owner of the course.

Played at worst time of year.. during drought.. considering this the course was in good shape.. the greens were great..

You won’t find a better course for the price..

Considering summer in TX is here the greens were in good shape. Made some nice putts because the ball rolled true.

Layout is a little screwy on a couple of holes but a fun play!

Wonderful greens. Good for all handicaps. Very well conditioned despite August heat. Worth the drive. Great value. Will go back.

You need more than five stars to rate this course. I'd give it ten! If you've never played there, make a point to put it on your must play list. Course in emaculet shape. Best greens you'll ever see. Make the drive it's well worth it!

All around excellent course. Staff keeps the course in perfect condition and pricing is fair. I would recommend this course to anyone. Plenty of challenge and fun to play. Extraordinary use of natural granite outcroppings in the course design.
