About Lighthouse Country Club
Located in the Texas Hill Country just off of Lake LBJ, Lighthouse Country Club in Kingsland is an 18-hole golf course with several vacation homes to rent out. These 2-bedroom/2-bathroom 1,300-square-foot units are steps from the clubhouse, which features dining and overlooks the scenic golf course. In addition to these homes, Lighthouse also has an RV park with laundry, picnic area and showers. Lighthouse (formerly Packsaddle Country Club, named after nearby Packsaddle Mountain) is an affordable stay-and-play option. The semi-private golf course, originally opened in 1968 but renovated in 2006 and purchased in 2011, has made the Golfers' Choice Top 25 golf courses in Texas in multiple years and Golfers' Choice best value in the country list.Facts

Never disappoints
I like everything about this golf course. Staff is affable, laid back, and extremely accommodating. Course itself is always at/near peak playability for the season. Greens can be TREACHEROUSLY fast at times, so be cautious, especially early in your round. Several memorable holes. Track has quite a bit of character, absolutely worth playing more than once.
Worth the drive from Austin in my opinion, especially when it’s at/near peak condition. Would cost twice as much if it were 20 miles from ATX instead of 60.
Well Maintained Course
Lighthouse is always in good shape, Greens are true.
Sandtraps a little hard, but playable.
Good practice area.
Keeps getting better
Play this tract on guys weekend for years, back when it was Lighthouse Golf. The current ownership is turning this course into something special.
Wow!!
What a gem. Some of the best greens I've ever played. Course is in excellent condition and the scenery is wonderful. My compliments to the staff and especially the superintendent. If it wasn't an hour and a half drive for me I'd play it all the time.
Great Owner & Staff
We had a tee time that in all honesty my group and I had completely screwed up through GolfNow. When we got to the pro shop the assistant was having quite a difficult time taking care of the situation. The owner of the club happened to be there and he jumped right in and took over the process and took care of us without issue. It was great to see true customer service at work! Love the course and thank you for wanting our business. It's nice to see in today's world.
Does not disappoint
We keep coming back because the price for this course is incredible. Such a fun tract. Each hole different from the last. Can't say enough good things about this course.
great course
very nice hard for duffers unless you concentrate. then go course
Front 9 is a very unique experience
Love the front nine, back nine nothing special. Course in good condition, great value, will definitely play again and again.
Hidden Gem
A fabulous layout hidden in the outskirts of Kingsland, Texas - a remote small community on lake LBJ in central Texas. Don't tell anyone . . .
Bargain
Always include this course in our hill country golf adventures. Cannot beat the price for a course with interesting holes like this one has!
Best in this Area
The course is well maintained, very attractive and also challenging. Unfortunately they do not have a Chef at this time so the restaurant is closed.
