THE LODGE at Kiln Creek Golf Club & Resort

This is the 2nd time in a row that the course tried to not honor our tee time using golf now. They have shared it is because they do not get the money we pay golfnow. Not a great way to do business. This is twice this has happened.

This course will be beautiful after being properly watered and everything is green. Tee boxes and fairways were brown during its dormant season. The putting greens were in very good shape. Nice layout. Not difficult for the average golfers.

I was pleasantly surprised that carts were 90 degrees given the amount of rain we've had over the last 2 or 3 weeks. The greens are in the best condition of any that I've played lately. The bunkers were in fantastic shape as well.

This course has seen its ups and downs over the years, but since it's ownership change in December 2014 a lot of money and effort has been invested to significantly up grade the condition of the course and the related facilities. It now is one of the best daily fee courses in southeast Virginia.

This course has the fastest greens in the area. The course is very fair and can be very challenging from the blue tees and beyond but is much friendlier from the white tees on in. I have played both numerous times

Great course...however it does not drain well. Most of the course was saturated even though it hadn't rain in 6 days and we have had unseasonably warm weather. Excellent course that will challenge your game, however make sure it's dry before you go.

Most enjoyable going back soon. The layout is very enjoyable with no like holes. Great value for your money.

Greens were very well maintained.

We, older couple, were paired with 2 ladies aat the start of our round. During the round it became unclear why we were paired, because there was nobody in front of us, neither behind us. Nevertheless we had a good and enjoyable round. There are some challenging holes, but doable for all level players. The course was well maintained with fast greens.

$50.00 tp rent ok clubs. Crazy! Good thing I got a deal on the greens fee with GN.

Course has some challenging shots and very nice conditions. Enjoyed the round except for the rain catching us the last few holes.

I have not played this course in 4 years and since the HOA took over the course greens keeper has done a good job restoring course. Greens where just punched but where sanded and rolled smaller holes would have been better for the aeration. Played from Black tees and was not hard but challenging. Buckers are fresh with very good sane so do not get in them. Stay in the center but off center hits do not hurt so bad.

I live in Kiln Creek and let me tell you, this is the best this course has ever looked. The fairways, greens, and tee boxes are all forest green. The only complaint is the new sand they put in all the traps. It's a milky playground sand, and around the parameters it is impossible to hit the ball out of the trap. Nothing but fried eggs but in the core of the bunkers it is perfect. Would recommend to anyone who likes Golf.

The fairway and greens were in good shape. Overall, the course was well-maintained and enoy able to play.

They take pride in the upkeep of this course. You will not be disappointed.

Course was in good shape overall but it was disappointing not to have any indication of where the pin locations were set at and guessed wrong on several occasions. A course should make you rely upon a distance finder that not everyone has.
