Kiln Creek Golf Club & Resort

Course was in OK condition considering all the rain we have received recently.

Course is in good condition. Only three holes were cart path only. Greens were I good shape. Very smooth and fast.

Greens wasn’t in good condition. The heat was burning the greens so a lot of water was con the greens. The fairways were ok but lord help you if you miss the fairways. A player behind my group told us he had lost three balls in the ruff just off the fairways.

The only thing that I regret about this course is not coming to play sooner. The course conditions were great and the layout was extremely fun. The carts had everything you need from GPS in cart, ball/club washer, and smooth riding. The staff from the club house on were friendly and helpful. Your fee also pays for range balls, so for all that you get, it’s definitely worth the money. I’ll be playing here every time I come home to visit family; one of my new favorite courses. Challenging enough so that no matter what your skill level, you can have a great time.

I really like the layout of this course. They practice facilities are nice and staff are friendly. But the greens aren’t in particularly good shape. 14-17 green were nearly unplayable in some spots. It’s unfortunate because the course has a lot of things going for it. Hard to justify the cost compared to the conditions though.

Good course. Pace of play great today. Greens true. Tee boxes look great. Fairways a bit damp but but good. Nice winter golf in NN.

I've played here quite a few times. It's a good layout and the greens are usually pretty decent. Some of the bunkers have way too much sand but I'd rather deal with that than no sand. It can play tough from the back tees. My only complaint is it stays fairly wet and does not drain well at all. But if it hasn't rained in a week or more it's good to go. Decent practice facilities which is nice. Overall it's a nice place. Staff is always very friendly and welcoming.

An extra 5 $ per player for range balls because we booked with GN. I was told they would have been included if I had booked directly with them....

Great course with friendly, helpful staff. Carts are GPS equipped, but unfortunately knowing pace of play was behind after 3 holes, no ranger came out to move up players. Would return again and maybe have a normal finish time.

I try to play a different golf course each month in my area. Just to try and play all the courses in the Hampton roads area of Virginia. If you normally pay from the white trees on most courses you’ll want to move to the blues on this one. Plays short and only used driver on the par 5’s. Will play from the blues next time. Greens are smooth and fairways are narrow. Definitely an exciting golf course.

I had not played this course for over 20 years but it is still as nice as it was then! The most striking thing though, was that the clubhouse associate was very nice and thoughtful! They didn't used to be so friendly 20 years ago.
