Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort
About Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort
Located a short ferry ride from Seattle on the Kitsap Peninsula, the Clearwater Casino Resort, owned by the Suquamish Tribe, is more than just a waterfront casino. It has the amenities for a wedding, work conference, golf getaway or a relaxing vacation. The 183-room resort features a spa, six restaurants, four bars, an event lawn, indoor zero-entry pool, beach access and the excitement of casino nightlife that offers table games, slots, keno and much more. The tribe purchased the White Horse Golf Course, located 11 miles away in Kingston, in 2010 and made immediate improvements. A new clubhouse was added and local architect John Harbottle brought in to make the course more playable.Facts

Wonderful afternoon at Whitehorse wonderful afternoon at Whitehorse , other than the bunkers, the course was in great shape ! please rake the bunkers in the morning , still a great deal !
Golf in my backyard
Where are you horse is a good challenging course I wonderful layout with many hazards other than the bunker not being raked it was a great round and I’ll be back again this weekend
3stooges’
A beautiful day on a beautiful course !..other than the bunkers ,it was a great day!
Overcast weather great golf
Golf course is in great shape. It would be nice if golf carts had navigation. It is really hard to figure out distances. Pace of play was good and cart girl was friendly.
A treasure
I could play this course over and over and not be bored. Will play again in the next seven days before I head home to California. If it was in Orange County,
Ca, it would be my home course.
The greens were very challenging, fast and “interesting”. I was intimidated until after 5 holes when I got my confidence back.
No reservation ‘
Whitehorse is a beautiful challengeing course, great time !
Casino Royal
It was a great day at white horse! Well kept, great greens, beautiful scenery! 3 birdies!
Beautiful course.
Course was in great condition, with great surroundings. Had some holes for all different levels of golfers that made it fun and a little challenging. Highly recommend this course to everyone.
Slow play. Great day !
Course is in great shape ! ( rake the bunkers each morning!!! ) my only gripe ! Beautiful course, beautiful day, great restaurant!!!
$ in my pocket!
A beautiful course and great staff !( bunkers need a good raking!) well worth the cost of greens fees!
Everything you need
I've played this course 3 times in the last couple weeks and it keeps convincing me it's worth taking the ferry over from Edmond's. It is only a 10-15 min drive from the Kingston ferry or they have a free shuttle (temporarily not operating due to Covid). The course layout is difficult from any 5 sets of tee's they offer. Each tee will provide different hills and bunkers in the fairways that will come into play. I recently played Salish Cliffs and saw similarities between the course layouts with rolling fairways, fescue and tree lined OB making it challenging to find your ball. The greens also provide a challenge if missed with bunkers typically playing below the hole and tough angles around the putting surface. The greens roll true and have great speed but it will vary depending on the weather conditions. The course can be wet with the rain forest climate but the course drains well. Pace of play has not been much of a problem here but you will run into an occasionally slow group trying to find there lost balls in the woods or struggling with difficult shots. The staff and amenities are top notch for a resort and I would recommend anyone try this course to get a true Pacific Northwest experience. There is great value to be had if you find the right deal online and they offer a rise & shine deal before 9:30 am on the weekdays. This course should be on your list if you are in the Kitsap Peninsula and I would also recommend Port Ludlow, Golf Mountain or Trophy Lake if you want to make a full day trip or do the replay for only $25.
Always a gem
Make the trip. Right of the ferry. Immaculate course. Challenging. Bring your A game.
Buckle Up
White Horse is a favorite. Very beautiful layout and good service. It’s a little out of the way but worth the drive. However, don’t go if you’re not a good golfer or don’t mind having a course whup you into submission (which can happen even to the best golfers). Simply put, this course is tough. Enjoy the challenge!
