Had a fun time with great conditions and layout!
Greens were in great shape and play was brisk. Will return for sure!
Good shot = punishment
Course was in fair to below average shape for all the hype in the reviews, lots of bunkers with rocks and no sand, one fairway has bark in one half of it and almost half the holes were blind shots with a GPS in the cart that couldn’t find the hole. I drove over an hour and a half to play “one of the top courses in the state”. I wouldn’t play again if I lived next door. I will say, the greens were nice and rolled pretty good though. There’s my positive.
Worth the trip
I booked the round before arrived to Seattle and was surprised when it was 94 miles from my hotel, but the drive to the course was remarkable and once I arrived the course was beyond worth it. The course asks you to play golf and be aware on every shot. It was such a fun round I had to go out for a replay. None the less if you are in the area make the trip and play.
Great Round!
The only ding is that the food cart and snack shack weren't open due to the Covid-19 pandemic so that really isn't the courses fault. Everything else was very nice!
Golf returns
So happy to be back on the course again. Really like how they opened up the course ... now much more light and drier.
Everything was great, tough course but fair. Had a fun day.
More trees gone !
Beautiful course, great people ! There making this course’ melenial friendly’ cutting trees, opening the fairways, still a great day ! A’
Classic course
With the nice layout and variety of difficulty hole to hole the course is always a fun one to play. Ripping it off the tee box isn’t always a good choice so it really makes you think and change your approach.
First time fun
First trip to Port Ludlow Golf. Practice areas were nice to get ready.. Course was laid out well, maintained well and played well. Not too much trouble (score increasing areas) that made it enjoyable. It was challenging but played well.
Great course
Beautiful well kept greens and fairways. Missing some ball wash stations, challenging course.
Best shape ever
We've been playing here for years and love the course. It is so peaceful and relaxed out here. Seems like you are a million miles away for the rush of the city. The improvements to the course are obvious. We commented several times on how nice the fairways and greens were. It's a first class experience on a beautiful, challenging course. The staff and food are always great too.
Great Course, Great food and Awesome Staff
When I come up to Washington I love to play this course. Lots of diversity . Somewhat challenging but rewarding. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant, Niblicks, has awesome food, especially the Club sandwich. Can’t say enough good things about halting here.
Exceptional course
I am no old pro at golf and have played courses from east to west coast and hawaii. I have to say this one was comparable to Torrey pines south course beautiful layouts , well kept fast greens , fairways were exceptional, difficulty level was high undulating fairways with several elevated greens and tee boxes. Water hazards throughout but well placed adds to the view and your skill level. I'd recommend to anyone wanting to experience golf's finest. The employees were helpful, courteous and welcoming. I got in with a group of members who showed me the ropes and welcomed me into the " fold". Thank you to everyone at the course. I'll be back soon
I really enjoy playing this course. There are some holes you can score on and others on which risk / reward needs to be more carefully calibrated.
Peaceful and classic PNW setting. I’ll be back there again soon.
Loved it!
I loved this course. It is a typical Washington State course with lots of elevation changes and beautiful scenery. Course is in great shape and a good test for any level golfer. Loved it!
Fairway frolic
Stay in the fairways and chip close to the pins.Otherwise you will be in recovery mode way to much.Enjoy the scenery.
