Don’t pay/charge more than $40.00 until the course is repaired better maintained. Even then, consider elsewhere.
Goat track
Hills everywhere, cart path is terrible, pace of play was horrendous. Waited a hour on 10 to tee off.
WORST COURSE EVER
By far the worst golf course I have ever played. I asked the employee Working the desk whats up with the condition of the course and he said “ well we had a heat wave earlier in the summer and people didnt follow the cart path only signs” “ the cart paths should be redone by next season also with lakeviews “ , and he couldn’t really give a legitimate answer about the greens other than that “ some of them are in great condition “ despite the clear neglect of the course.
I should note there wasnt any ready carts and was told to take the one from the cart return “ that one only went out for “ The employee couldn’t even take a second to tell me where the first tee box was , he had headphones on through our whole interaction and clearly wasn’t interested in doing his job.
Its clear the course hasnt been cut , watered, or maintained at all within weeks . NOT WORTH PLAYING 0 out of 0
ZERO STARS. Run, Don't Walk, Away From This Dump!
ZERO STARS. Run, Don't Walk, Away From This Dump!
This place is an absolute disaster from top to bottom. Calling it a "resort" is a flat-out lie. The golf course is a joke: tee boxes were garbage, fairways were a swampy mix of crabgrass, dirt, and rocks (or completely underwater!), though I will admit the greens weren't terrible.
The employees were utterly useless. I walked through the eating area at 4 PM, and the breakfast mess was still there! It was disgusting. The outside deck was a death trap, with missing boards and balusters – I'm lucky I didn't fall through!
Our room was okay, I guess, aside from the air conditioner's inability to actually cool the place down. The indoor pool was a pleasant surprise, and refreshing, but even that was dirty. And don't even get me started on the parking lot – trash and random "stuff" everywhere.
This is, without a doubt, the worst golf "resort" I have ever experienced. It's not worth it for weddings, getaways, golf, parties, retreats, or anything else. Save your money and sanity and go somewhere – anywhere – else.
ZERO STARS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
ZERO STARS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
This place bills itself as a resort golf course, but it's an absolute disgrace. The tee boxes were trashed, the fairways were a mix of crabgrass and bare dirt, and the greens looked like a science experiment gone wrong – half dead, half diseased.
The staff were terrible, and to top it all off, the groundskeeper ran over my ball in broad daylight while "mowing" the "grass." Speaking of the grounds, the overflowing garbage cans suggest they don't bother with daily upkeep.
This was, without a doubt, the worst golf "course" I have ever had the misfortune of visiting. It wouldn't be worth $5, even if I were bringing my kid. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.
The greens were above average. The rest of the course is in horrible condition. Crabgrass is completely taken over everywhere. No sand in the sand traps. The teei’ were in deplorable condition.
SMH
If your course is in such bad shape please don’t charge the same price you would if it was in good shape.
It was probably the worse condition course I have ever played. From the fairways to the greens were awful.
$52 dollars for dead brown greens and high fairways.
Trying
Greens still haven’t fully recovered from last years drought conditions but course was nicely mown and they seem to be trying to get it back in shape. I’m sure it’s expensive but they really need to fix whatever irrigation or drainage problem in front of several of the greens and in the middle of a couple fairways.
Time to shut the course down and start over
An absolute embarrassment. Many fairways look like a NASCAR dirt track. In fact if my front yard look like the tee boxes snd fairways I would fire my landscaper. They should pay you to play that golf course. Also don’t believe the photographs on their website.
Bad year
This course has potential! Rain this summer has not been friendly to the course. Fairways were extremely wet when we played, several fairways had limited grass. This course needs some dry temperatures for a few weeks. Call before you book if you want to play.
don't go
terrible shape. fairways are uncut and full of weeds-- cant find ball at times. cart paths are unusable. greens are a mess and covered in ground wasp nests.
greens are getting better , but the cart paths are seriously bad between 15 green and 16th tee especially.
you can do better and fix them.
sand traps are unplayable.
Only Worth Going during a Hot Deal.
Mountainview is $45 for 18 holes. I believe there are 7 holes where the ball can land short of the green and be unplayable because of the poor irrigation. I counted 11 holes that had sand hornets, between the number of hornets and number of burrows in the green, putting is a nightmare. There are several spots in the fairway on various holes where your second shot is on bare ground, clover, crabgrass, or more puddles. The clients don’t repair divots or seed. Staff is friendly and courteous!
Ran down.
This use to be a course I looked forward to playing. But unfortunately they have let the course go and it’s no longer kept up.
