Christmas Mountain Village

I played on a 90 degree day with 80% humidity. Not a drop of drinking water on the entire course. Saw a cart girl once on front and once on back, but to not have water stations every 3-4 holes in hot weather is inexcusable. The course was in its usual (terrible) condition. I only play here because my folks live on the course. If I were 5 miles away I would never play here.

The course had a great layout and was absolutely beautiful in the Wisconsin forest scenery. Would 100% recommend if you are a golfer in the Wisconsin dells area and played great for the price available.

This is a very pleasant course to play, with its uphills and downhills. The front nine went quickly. The back nine not so much. There were several slow large groups. I skipped about half the holes on the back nine because rain was threatening, and I didn't want to get caught. Fortunately, a young man and a group of four young men let me play through. Not the others. I appreciated the strategically-placed toilets.

Glad I was able to get a substantial discount, almost half price. If I would have had to pay full price I wouldn’t have been very pleased. Greens were in not too good shape. Staff was very friendly.

Beautiful coarse, in good shape and not too crowded. Listen to the birds and see the great views. Greens had a few bD spots but not bad for this time of the year .

Both course fairways nice, layout challenging. Greens were like a gravel parking lot. Pitted, no grass or pine needle covered. Maybe just the time of year, will golf again. I am a Bluegreen member and they wanted twice what I got it for on Golfnow.

I was a solo and I would have rather been paired with some players than play solo and backed up every shot. I will be back. Course looked good. Hopefully not too backed up next time.

Even with golf now coupon the price was too high based on course conditions. Aerated greens from 2025 (my guess) did not get sanded. Some greens had big brown patches. Fall out seeds from maple trees littered some greens. Sum it all up and green fee should have much much lower. Will I play again, yes, but later in the season.

Overall Good rating given as course greens are still coming around. A few showed signs of aeration, not a big deal, but greens didn't run true -- too many bumps when putting caused by nature's debris and poorly repaired ball marks. Likely will improve over next few weeks. Hadn't played here for a very long time as pace of play was always very slow. This early in season, it was great. Done in 3 & 3/4 hours.

Course layout is good. Fairways were nice, but greens were horrible. Maybe it's early in the season?!
