Christmas Mountain Village

I had my best round ever at Christmas Mountain. I cut my finger badly earlier in the week and wasn't sure if I could even grip the club or fit the glove over that hand. The glove fit, nearly no pain, and I didn't open up the stitches. Also, had my best round here ever. I shot an 83 and left several putts short due to the longer greens in the off season. I made a lot of putts too though. I love the course.

Course in great shape. Will definitely try to play again

Played once alone a year ago and then played with a friend this past September. Course was in excellent condition, staff was extremely friendly, weather was picture perfect.

Great day to play a round of golf.

I am some what handicapped (diddiculty in walking), so I immediately noticed the elevated tee boxes, not real user friendly and some tyoe of hand rails would have been appreciated.

We have played this course before and it was in very nice shape. This time, it was if they have stopped maintaining anything but still charge to play! Greens were as long as the fairway normally is and fairway was like rough. Couldn't see dividing line between rough and fairway. We realize it is the end of the season, but just close the 9-hole course if it's not going to be maintained. We saw another golfer when we let him play through (we were 4 and he was a single) and he also commented on the poor playing conditions - said he wouldn't be back!

Course in good shape for fall round. Even the sand traps were nice after rain the day before. Greens were a bit slow, and a few tee boxes need a bit more grass, but overall is an entertaining course with elevation changes, some challenging water locations, with a few narrow tree lined fairways.

Loved the layout! Greens were average for speed and the overall condition of the course when I played in late fall was above average. The design of tight and it is a shot-makers course with lots of elevated tees and greens. Enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to others!

The putting greens were not chewed up but it was like putting on carpet and do not roll true. You can putt the same putt 3 times with the same pace and it’ll more 3 different ways. I’ve also never seen such beat up teeboxes. The course is visually appealing but not a course to play if you want a overall great course, many other courses that you can play near us that’ll be a better bang for your buck.

Had not been there in 10 years. Will be awhile before we would need to go back.

The course has a number of interesting holes that provide beautiful views and challenging play. The course was in very good condition. Not busy this time of the year.

I love this course. Had a great time. No beer cart on the course this time? Tee boxes were the worst I have ever seen. I will come back again though. The views on the course are great.

What happened to this beautiful golf course? The tea boxes were absolutely horrible. 75% of the tea boxes had absolutely no grass alive on them. Several of the greens were damaged by maintenance equipment and others had dead areas on them. Weeds clover and quack grass everywhere. What happened to this Golf Course is a tragedy.

The course is a nice layout and real challenging but is in rough condition .

Course seems to have gone down hill since the last time my son and I played there about 4years ago. We got on early as they were not that busy.

Received a good price for 9 w/ cart. It it was because the Pines 9 is an inferior course in all aspects. Only 2800 yards from the tips with fairways that were in terrible shape. I assume the other 18 is better. Should really let the consumer know that this 9 is like a municie course in rural Mississippi.

Course is in excellent shape save one tee box needs some work. Very difficult if you are used to Florida flat courses, but an extremely enjoyable day.
