Greatness

Still my favorite of the three courses. In great shape and played very well. The food afterwards is still some of the best around. Love it!

Awesome Course. Will definitely be back. Only problem was the back nine. A group of 18 was extremely slow and had the back nine slowed to a halt. Other than that it was great.

Fun and challenging course

Geneva National Player course is a fun and challenging course. Some holes with Lake view make it much more special too.

Play all three

Love this place! Cool practice area to warm up. Fun and challenging putting green. Great vibes and views all around. The course was in excellent shape for May.

Great course

Although there were some maintaince issues, which included new soda and tee boxes, this course was in great shape and the "makeover" didn't take away from some great golf!

Entertaining forest-then-lakeside romp with good recent renovations

Although all three of Geneva National’s courses are strong, the Palmer is the class of the bunch, with a fun routing that heads into the forest from the clubhouse before ultimately swooping down to the shores of Lake Como, where the 17th is one of America’s most picturesque inland par 5s. In between, some recent renovations by architect Brandon Johnson have helped address some playability issues, including an opening hole that used to make a rough first impression but is now one of the course’s better par 4s.

One of the best courses of its kind

For all his bluster, The Black Knight’s track record as the name on golf courses is uneven at best. But the course that bears the Player name here is a very good one: big-shouldered and heavily bunkered, with a routing that tackles some challenging with panache, rather than timidity. The plunging par-5 10th hole with a pondside green is a highlight.

Third-best at the resort but a good effort

Of Geneva National’s three golf courses, the Trevino is the one that features the most target golf, occasionally making the golfer feel somewhat hamstrung. But a handful of meadow holes at the middle of the round provide some relief and pleasant scenery. As is the case across the resort, late-spring conditioning was terrific.
