The Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is a sprawling 1,300-acre, AAA Four Diamond property, home to 355 rooms and 29 new villas. It's a four-season destination with the Mountain Top ski and snowboard facility and the 225-room Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, an indoor-outdoor waterpark. Sandwiched between Milwaukee and Chicago, Grand Geneva invites city slickers to enjoy the laid-back lake life for a while. It started out as the Lake Geneva Playboy Club, part of Hugh Hefner’s empire. That chapter closed in 1981. Eventually, the property rebranded as a luxury golf resort in 1994 with fine dining and conference facilities for corporate clients. The Highlands and The Brute roll over hills and water hazards, creating distinct theaters for challenging and memorable golf. Excellent layout ruined by bad upkeep
The Highlands has an interesting and challenging but fair mix of holes. The upkeep, and especially the sand traps, is disappointing. There is way too much soft sand - with large and small rocks - in the traps, both fairway and green side, to the point where it is very difficult to get a foooting. This sand might be fine for the lakefront in Kenosha, but it doesn’t belong on a $100 greens fee course.

What beautiful golf course. More open than I thought it would be . Some hole require a iron off the tee unless you have the capability to bomb a drive into narrow landing areas. Just a great course. What a layout! Everything was in top notch shape. Love to play again..Worth the trip. Nice to see how the other half lives.. Staff were very friendly and the golf carts were like driving a Caddillac.
What a day !
Played on a Monday and it couldn't have been better. Beautiful weather and paired with 2 great guys. The Brute is worth every penny! Fantastic layout, course was in pristeen condition. Staff was friendly and courteous. I will definitely be back and will bring my friends. What a great way to spend a beautiful day !!

Course was on great shape. Greens were true. Staff was excellent. Very challenging.

Great Day at Geneva National
Course was in great shape and thankfully greens weren't too fast given some holes slope severely back to front. Staff was very helpful and friendly, taking precautions given COVID risks.
Rich Town Course
Played both courses many times. I like the Highlands the best, but a major draw back is after th hole it doesn’t bring you back to the club house, and half way house at 11 is NEVER OPEN. But recently they had a beverage cart out on the course. One of the best senic layouts in all of Lake Geneva . Shot makers course, but I will add, there greens were superb.
Sadly this I only play here on golf deals from golf apps when I can find them.. Lake Geneva Cater to the wealthy when it comes to the 7 courses in the area. Normally your looking at starting at $100.00 bucks and higher. Not worth the money here. Sad it that way here.
Best course I’ve played this year!
I’ve played many courses already this season and I have to say the Highlands are in top shape. I was very pleased with the condition and pace of play. Will for sure play again.
The course was great, the staff was great
Somehow my reservation was lost in the system but they recovered well and still got us out within an hour. Course was in super shape.
